Awesome stat that the Hawks area 24-1-1 when leading going into the 3rd. I know when the OT loss was but can't recall the regulation loss.

C'mon I want this win. As a Chicago sports fan it would make this just about a perfect week. 2 Blackhawks wins, 3 Bulls wins on road vs. West, Rose makes all star team, Cubs make a halfway decent acquisition.

I mean it wasn't great but he was in position to make a save until Hossa's skate deflected it. that puck was slow moving and the deflection off hossa's skate was far enough away where he should have been able to react if he saw it. he didn't see the puck, period. i dont know what his deal is with that, but all season he's had trouble seeing the puck. I sound like a Huet defender when I'm not but he was also being screened. My only point was that there have been far more indefensible goals given up by Huet this year. That is one I could see a normal goalie giving up.

In the last 3.5 periods in San Jose the Hawks have outscored the Sharks 10-2 lol. Let's hope we can keep this up and get a huge W.

2 of their better bold predictions that hit were the 2008 Rays having a sharp rise and becoming a postseason contender (I don't quite think they predicted them to make the playoffs, I think it was 88 wins or something), and the 2007 White Sox, off of 99 and 93 wins finishing in last place (they were close).

I know that if Bulls management had their way they would get rid of Hinrich and/or Salmons/Deng during the season for expiring and go after 2 max FAs. Everything I've read suggests that. Of course that could destroy this years team, which in turn makes our team less desirable. Who knows, it's gonna be a crazy interesting offseason.

I'd take their chances vs. Boston again. Even with Garnett, the Bulls can beat the Celtics. there's absolutely no way. We haven't come within 15 point of Boston everytime we've played them with Garnett. What makes you think we would all of the sudden?

I am absolutely stunned at this run by the Bulls. It literally came out on nowhere. I mean I would have honestly been impressed if the 4 road wins were over Washington, New Jersey, Minnesota, and Detroit, that's how awful the Bulls have been on the road. But to do it during an extended road trip to the west coast against 4 playoff contenders, I'm just dumbfounded. I don't know how to react to this, so I'm just going to enjoy it. The Bulls are 1 GB the 5 seed in the East.

So it looks like with 2 games left on their road trip, the worst the Hawks will finish is 5-3 (I just can't see them losing to Carolina). That's fairly respectable for such a long tough trip, although I'd obviously be happier with 6-2

Just get 2 points here. If we do, we play San Jose next, and have a chance to even them up in points with a regulation win.

Both teams played like horsecrap tonight. The difference was their depth and our exhaustion. And a few inexplicable non-calls in Minnesota's favor. NW certainly had their chances at the end between the possession that ended with 15 seconds left, and not being able to get the rebound on the Minnesota missed FT. Frustrating to see.

I figured some of those awesome chances the Hawks had in the 1st period would go in sooner or later.

Northwestern is about to drop a tough one at Minnesota. According to the bracket matrix, NW is the 2nd team out of the tourney and Minnesota is the 4th team out. You need to beat the teams closest to you.
