  1. The Bears might pick a guard or ot high, but if you gave me decent odds (4-1 or better), I'd probably put money on their not picking any o-linemen in the first 3 rounds. Just seems to be the way Angelo operates.
  2. I'm not really shaken up over the game, but at the same time I haven't let myself to travel outside of this forum, RealGM or Sporcle since the game ended. Makes me sick the Packers are in the Super Bowl, and I can't stand seeing people discuss the game. The Chicago Bulls are my saving grace. Because if it weren't for them (and the Hawks) we'd be looking at a long bad summer of mediocre baseball before 2-a-days in July.
  3. Didnt Rodgers go really low to try to trip up Urlacher? I don't think Urlacher would have been able to put his shoulder down and knock down Rodgers
  4. I read somewhere that there was something wrong with the radio in Hanie's helmet and it was going in and out. Maybe some justification for the TO?
  5. I didn't realize dilfer had a camera locked on cutler to document his every move behind the scenes. Or maybe he's suggesting they reenact the argument for the tv cameras v
  6. Apparently Clay Matthews made some comment about how they made Cutler quit. Idiot. Also, Cutler apparently cried during his postgame interview? I didn't see it. In case people didnt click on the SI link posted earlier: [expletive] I hate Bears fans. Unbelievable.
  7. Enjoy your vacation. \:D/ =D> :clapping: :yahoo: That and preventing spousal abuse in Wisconsin almost made losing worthwhile.
  8. lol, I started reading this and was like 'wow, that was actually pretty classy erik" and then I got to your second sentence and yup, there's erik. The Packers proved that Rodgers is mediocre against the Bears D and that the Packers cannot move the ball on the Bears for 60 minutes. 14 offensive points?
  9. Also, there were a lot of disapointing performances on defense today (hello, entire d-line), but Urlacher stepped up and had a great game. Obviously he had that interception, he had a hand in stopping a lot of running plays at the LOS or behind, and I believe he had a sack as well. He is one of the few Bears players that bettered his standing in the eyes of Bears fans today.
  10. He got his act together because the Bears were getting great field position due to their special teams, so Maynard was asked to do what he does best, which is directional punting.
  11. you are an idiot. What? if you think he quit you are an idiot. Oh, I see. You were finishing my sentence. I was gonna say, I've been pretty clear about defending Cutler in the last 3-4 pages.
  12. you are an idiot. What?
  13. Even if you do think Cutler "quit" today, it does no good to try to run him out of town. Who are you going to get who is a better QB than Cutler? Why make it that much harder for Cutler to succeed here?
  14. Not a superstar but I believe he is a star. The season he had with that o-line is impressive. Forte running in the open field is just scary. He's really shifty, gets by and breaks tacklers, and runs good routes when hes going out on passing plays. I am not sure how his blocking is, but considering the Bears ran the majority of their offensive plays without a FB/H-Back he is probably pretty decent. He's a great all around player, the best offensive player for the bears today, and is probably the 2nd most talented offensive player in most games besides Cutler. He may not be a 'superstar' but he's a great piece to have.
  15. The hits just keep coming. Geez, I'm starting to hate twitter as in invention. It pisses me off to read all this but at the same time I cant stop reading about it.
  16. Stephen A Smith's twitter: (combined the tweets) then
  17. I think this twitter crap is just because players just don't like cutler for whatever reason. But it is strange to see because if anyone would know what injuries can and can't be played on it's them. Folks, pandoras box has been opened. This is definitely going to be a topic of discussion for the very near future. The loss was bad enough but the reaction of the fans is gonna make it worse.
  18. Biggest single game IN CHICAGO in Chicago sports history. For reals. No. Just no. What one is bigger? dont be [expletive] stupid. there have been [expletive] of big games, SC finals, 2003 NL Champion 6 & 7, WSox WS, '85 NFC Champ this one sucked, but it wasnt "Biggest single game IN CHICAGO " I think you have to limit the choices to bear games since they are by far the most popular team in town which means big games mean a lot to a larger population of people. If you want to argue 85 was bigger whatever. But the packers being our arch rivals tips the scales for me.
  19. I'm in the same boat except I'm more of a cubs fan than bears fan. I'm not all that upset but I feel like I should be.
  20. They just said the dline combined for 4 tackles today. Really bad performance there.
  21. This is the thing about Cutler: he played pretty badly in the 1st half. Missed several open receivers (albeit some needed great throws to hit them), he threw at a couple of Packers and underthrew a INT at a point where we were close to points and needed something before halftime. All this is true for me. But the thing is..the game wasn't over. There was still tome to turn around his game. I mean look at Rodgers. Imagine if he only had those 3 bad quarters and not the good one and left with an injury. I'm not questioning the injury at all. It's stupid to pretend like he should have been out there and not know what sort of pain he was going through. Maybe he did "quit". I doubt it but it's impossible to prove anything and more often than not by like a 15-1 margin a player in that situation is hurt and can't play. So calling him out without knowing anything is really ignorant and makes u look dumb. I do greatly worry about how the city is reacting to this though. Initial reaction is very anti cutler. They could run him out of town but that would be so Chicago to give away the only good qb in 40 years. At least let us see how he does with an oline and wrs. Besides he had a good season. Really wanted to see him perform in a big game situation but whatever it's not like Rodgers was great. That said, didn't rivers have a similar injury a couple years ago in the playoffs and play another whole game on it? Not saying that means anything but just wondering if my memory is correct.
  22. Coaching not good. Blew the game.
  23. I can see why fans hate McCarthy now.
  24. Noodle leg strikes again.
  25. Nice adjustmets
