Or maybe its like one of those mighty duck movies, where they are all down, and q gets on his walkie talkie and starts inspiring them talking about how Hawks fly together (bold face lie but they're hockey players so whatever), and they all make up stories that end in "hawks fly together!" and then they came out in their badass red jerseys and everyone is like 'oh snap the hawks are back' did they switch jerseys during intermission?

I agree...the defense has been brutal. Crawford shouldnt need to stand on his head...mostly because he can't. edit: and the defense isnt even their biggest problem either.

I felt compelled to put on game 5 of the SCF last night (my goto game when I want to remember how dominating the hawks could be). Almost shed a tear when I was watching... i saw byfuglien score i saw niemi say no i saw sopel turn over the puck in his own end....but at the same time block 4-5 shots on a PK i saw versteeg in open ice with the puck and make 4 moves too many and turn it over but on his next shift make up for it with a perfectly placed blast from the faceoff circle i saw hossa looking like he cares i saw kane sober (I think....maybe?) i saw keith successfully clear the puck All that and much more. Good times.

2-0. Will be great to get 2 points in 3 games, while giving the opponent 5. Crawford falls down way too easily and cannot stop giving up rebounds today. Pathetic. Completely dominated by a team we were probably twice as talented as last year.

1-0 Boos on the power play off a very very iffy Hawks penalty that even the Blues announcers thought was bogus.

Those 4 points/3 boards per game are too crucial. Well obviously they believe he has the potential to do a lot more. But I didn't think he had all that much potential. I thought his best case scenario was backup big man on a contender.

I read that last week. He basically wrote in circles and didn't really have a coherant point. I dont think I am saying this because he was ripping Derrick Rose. If you read that article without reading the title and intro, you'd almost think it was a fluff piece about Rose.

According to predictive statistics: Hollinger's Playoff Odds: Head 60-22, Celtics 58-24, Bulls 57-25, Magic 53-29 BBP's POW ratings: Celtics 58-24 (58.4), Heat 58-24 (58.1), Bulls 57-25 (56.7), Magic 54-28 (54.2) Personally, I see the Bulls finishing with 56-57 wins, so then getting a 1 or 2 seed hinges on one of the other two teams coasting to the finish a bit. I don't think the Celtics are too concerned about seeding, as they won last year as a 4, and all of the top 4 in the East is clearly a step above. Blah, I hope they don't settle for an 18-10 finish. I know the schedule is harder but we are 10-2 against +500 teams since Dec 3rd. It is possible though, its hard to play .700 ball all year long.

Oh damn, I didnt even realize that. There goes my productivity this afternoon. Oddly enough we could be tied with 4 other teams for the 7th and 8th spots in a matter of hours (not to mention 5 points off the 3 seed in the West).

Yup, putting in a IF in a long extra innings game has happened before. It actually happened last year I believe. Conceding 1 game out of 162 is better than risking your ace's career.
