Tampa Bay has no choice but to spend. I believe the proposed salary floor for the next 2 seasons is 99% of the cap. If they spend well, they could have a very strong team the next few years. I was just about to ask what people thought of signing Mebane. As much as I want Henry Melton and Matt Toeania to be capable of holding down the DT position, we could certainly benefit from an upgrade. I don't know much about Mebane though other than apparently he's a run stopper. Can he be the three technique DT for the Bears? He only had 1 sack last year, and 10 for his career (5 seasons). I know that's clearly not the end all for a DT but I wonder if he's only a run stopper.

Not that it matters, but I read on RealGM that Rose scored 9 points which was apparently 2nd lowest on the team. He never seems to shine in these all star games. He saves it for the real games.
