  1. Annoys me that they sign him to this ridiculous contract, watch him decline quite a bit and then might get to void the deal right when it was getting to be quite the burden for them.
  2. I really don't know how this rating system works, but the 49ers were #1 and their stud had a +40.4 rating vs. the -0.8 rating for the Bears 'stud'
  3. I'm pretty sure it is. The suspension ended up being 21 games including the last 3 games of the Hawks series, the other 2 rounds the Coyotes played in last year and 10-12 games this year before we play them
  4. Unless you trade them our whole bench, Deng, Boozer or Noah would have to go. And Boston ain't taking Boozer. Edit: I guess they could make a deal headlined by Taj, Rip and someone else but I don't know if that BYC thingie is still something that's an issue with the new CBA (basically makes it really difficult to trade players in the first year of a new deal). Oh and also Boston would laugh if we offered that package.
  5. And yes that was a dare. Burke I dare you to make your draft stock higher.
  6. i read the other day that Magic Johnson was the last B1G player to reach 17 pts & 7 assists for a season Burke's sitting at 17.9/7.1 right now Yeah John Groce mentioned this. That's decent company I guess. Any chance he comes back next year? No he'll be gone. He was gone after last season but had a last second change of heart and its pretty much common knowledge that he's done after this year. He's gonna be a Wooden Award finalist and can possibly win it, he's a solid lottery pick, and the team will have its best shot at a NC this year (with Hardaway likely and GR3 possibly gone). For an undersized PG, I don't think his draft stock could get higher than it is now.
  7. Yea, I realize they are on that building on Clark and Waveland. But I've heard that Theo and Jed are at that rooftop building. That's badass if true
  8. Yay, Michigan offically #1 in the AP poll by a somewhat large margin. Kansas #1 in the Coaches poll by a mere 5 points (and 2 first place votes).
  9. Isn't the FO in the building directly to the east of the fire dept now? http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/3742/wrigleyoffices.png The building circled in red is the one I'm referring to, the one in blue is the building directly to the east of the fire dept. When I walk by the red circled building, there is a receptionists desk and a big Cubs logo on the wall, and Cubs related things in the various windows. Of course the baseball operations might have offices in that rooftop building, I don't know. Doesnt seem like there is a lot of room for the FO in a 3 flat, but I could be wrong. There are of course still offices in Wrigley as well. I have no idea which execs work in which offices.
  10. The Triangle Building seemed like a great enhancement to the park and area, but what I wonder is how they are going to expand the Cubs office space, which I believe was a big motivation behind that plan. I know they have team offices in that building on the NE corner of waveland and clark, have they always been there or am I just noticing it over the past year or two? Maybe moving into that space has allieviated their need for more office space. I guess they could also plan in office space somewhere in the planned hotel, but i dont remember reading anything about that. The Wrigley rennovation plans I've seen didnt seem to have much on increased office space either.
  11. Thought this was an interesting story from the other day. I wonder how different the Cubs franchise would have been if Al Capone somehow pulled this off (and didnt get arrested shortly after for tax evasion). http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-big-league-stew/babe-ruth-al-capone-pals-autographed-baseball-auction-192413221--mlb.html
  12. will you please [expletive] off huh? you don't like winning close games? I think that ish is a big sign of a team that can win in the playoffs
  13. AJ Green has now burned Jennings and Tillman for TDs. Yes I have the Pro Bowl on
  14. Peanut punch sighting in the Pro Bowl
  15. 4 straight 1 goal wins
  16. Hahaha, amazing. No business winning this one
  17. Welp, I will take at least the point!
  18. Clear the puuuuuk
  19. Hawks look awful this period
  20. Hawks being outshot again...if it keeps that way they will have been outshot in 3 of the 6 games, with only one game where we outshot the opponent by more than 2 SOG.
  21. Hawks havent shut out an opponent since 2010-2011, so whose scoring the 2nd goal for the Hawks? Edit: I should have kept my big mouth shut
  22. Trey Burke shoots 7-19 and still puts up a sexy line of counting stats. Hopefully UM can take care of Northwestern before the @ Ind, vs. OSU, @ Wis, @ MSU gauntlet afterwards.
  23. reminds me of
  24. That's awesome
  25. The Hawks have looked improved but one thing that hasn't is turnovers in their zone/not clearing well. Still infuriating at times.
