  1. Until I saw the year I thought this was about one of Chad Fox's comebacks with the Cubs.
  2. Brooklyn's winters are better than Chicagos. And obviously he has a love for NYC that he doesn't have for Chicago.
  3. Nah. Dwight cited cold weather as a big reason he didn't want to come to Chicago. I'm sure the Lakers being in town on the coldest day of the year didn't help.
  4. With 5 seconds of thought, I'd rank the seats: 1. 100 level or closer in the lower bowl between 3rd and 1st 2. Terrace Box (first rows of 200 level) between 3rd and 1st 3. 400 level between 3rd and 1st 4. 100 level or closer beyond 3rd and 1st 5. Bleachers 6. 500 level 7. Terrace reserve (the rest of the 200 level)
  5. I've always thought people sat in the bleachers because they are told its cool and the atmosphere is a lot looser than the general stands. Was appealing to me in my early 20's, but with the jacked up prices, i'd rather sit in the lower level and enjoy the game from a much better seat. I still enjoy an occasional trip to the bleachers though, if the price is right.
  6. Not bad to start the season 3-0 by beating the Stanley Cup champs, the Western Conference runners up, and the number 2 seed in the West last year, 2 of them on the road.
  7. ugh clear the damn puck
  8. agreed
  9. From what I've read the Cubs are still hoping to get the 2016 game for the 100th anniversary of Wrigley. Maybe that's changed over the last few days though. Who knows. That would be two years after the 100th anniversary. Sorry, 100th anniversary of the Cubs playing at Wrigley.
  10. And the Hawks shutoutless streak continues
  11. I love it! Hawks have gotten quite a few odd angle goals so far this year. Or at least the ones I've seen. I missed 5 of the goals in the Yotes game.
  12. Dude, Philly's getting a Delmon 1.3 Yeah I was kinda going for that
  13. Dude, Philly's getting a Delmon
  14. Lunardi's latest bracket is up. Illinois is one of his last 4 teams in (at the top of those 4 though) and Iowa is the 2nd team out. B1G seeds: Michigan - 1 Indiana - 2 Minnesota - 3 Ohio State - 4 Michigan State - 4 Wisconsin - 7 Illinois - 10

  17. There is a rumor on realgm that the Bulls/Sonics ( :) )/Bobcats are having talks centered around the infamous Bobcats protected pick the Bulls have. Bulls get: Jason Thompson Jimmer Fredette Trailblazers Top 12 Protected 1st round pick (from Charlotte) Sonics get: Gerald Henderson Nazr Mohammed Bobcats get: Future 1st round pick back from Bulls Richard Hamilton That would leave the Bulls (post return) with Rose/Hinrich/Robinson/Teague Bellineli/Fredette/Cook Deng/Butler/Radmonovic Boozer/Gibson Noah/Thompson And 2 first round picks this year in the late teens to mid 20s
  18. Really? OK, I can. But its annoying none the less.
  19. Well considering that its the first time Tom Brady has every blown a halftime lead at home and lost, I think they can give him a pass this time. 67-1 now with a halftime lead at home.
  20. I can't believe the Chicago media is turning on Cutler
  21. Fantastic assist by Kaner
  22. Smith is like the anti-Luongo for the Hawks
  23. Are we sure he wasn't a Raiders fan?
