  1. Ill take a 6-0-1 homestand And we've still played more road games than home games.
  2. 16-0-3
  3. Looks like Taj is going to be out at least 2 weeks with an MCL sprain
  4. Gotta appreciate Bill Murray just wanting to watch the game and talk baseball. He probably can't stand most Cubs fans if the stories in the article are the norm. Not surprised that he doesn't attend games often anymore.
  5. Dont want to start the arby clock until we're ready to compete
  6. Just finished reading that....awesome read.
  7. I think the AL East has a chance to be one of the most interesting division races in some time. I could see any of the 5 teams winning the division. I could also see any of the 5 finishing last. Everyone is down on the Yankees but they still have a ton of talent, the Red Sox are bouncing back from a terrible year and made some interesting moves, the Rays are the small market engine that could with lots of young talent, the Jays havent made the playoffs in 20 years but made some big moves in the offseason and many are projecting them to compete for a playoff spot, then you have the Orioles who defied all logic in making the playoffs last year and many are expecting a regression this year. No clear cut dominant team, all teams have major questions, but all teams have a shot at the division/wc.
  8. haha...from RealGM:
  9. AP Top 25 is out....highlights: 1. Indiana (64) 2. Gonzaga (1) 3. Duke 4. Michigan 5. Miami (FL) 9. MSU 16. OSU 17. Wisconsin 31. Illinois No other B1G teams got votes, which is understandable because Minnesota blows.
  10. I gotta think that guy is just predicting it with no inside sources. We'll see though Yeah, me too. But with Rose dunking yesterday in pre-game, and the Sun Times article today quoting a teammate saying that Rose is physically ready, and that Rose just has to believe it...you have to think it's gonna be really soon. I agree....could be any time over the next 2 weeks. RealGM is crazy with predicting his return. They are saying things like 'it will be thursday against philly because it would be a perfect story for him to return at the same building against the same team'. Other people are speculating that adidas has a hand in deciding when he returns. I guess they could be consulting with Rose about that, but I don't think it plays much of a factor at all. He'll play when he's ready whether its against the Sixers or Bobcats or whatever.
  11. I gotta think that guy is just predicting it with no inside sources. We'll see though
  12. Should be an interesting game tonight on the 2nd of a back to back. Edmonton seems to always play us well. Last year we went 1-3-0 against them, winning 6-3 and losing 9-2, 4-3, and 8-4.
  13. Dammit Anaheim won again. We are up 6 points but have 2 games in hand over them.
  14. That's pretty bold. Actually if all those came true I'd be disappointed with 78 wins.
  15. Shocked this is your only post about the game Edit: not that it's not true
  16. Record for lowest team shooting percentage in a game is .229 from some team in the 1950s. Bulls are at .212 3 minutes into the 3rd. At 39 points tho thanks to inexplicably shooting 18 FTs so chances are they won't break their own points record of 49.
  17. Bulls in the first half: Deng/Bellineli: 6/11 Everyone else: 4/37 (10.8%) Overall the Bulls shot 10/48 (20.8%) in the first half
  18. The Flyers went 35 games without a loss in the 1979-80 season. Don't think anyone will ever come close to that. We're over halfway there!
  19. I think someone mentioned here last week that were not even close. It's in the 30s or something.
  20. Hawks now have an 11 point lead in the Central and are even in games played.
  21. I remember when I really liked James Wisniewski
  22. Should have been a dive.
  23. That one reminded me a little of Bolland finding Byfuglien in OT against the Sharks in 2010
  24. Though one of the worst openings ever: Better call Arizona and at least see what we can get for him.
