  1. Nah I doubt it. From what I understand Hester hasnt taken reps on offense the entire time Trestman has been coach. I don't think Hester has much of an idea of the routes being run.
  2. OK, you can say he won't be successful. But don't say that's a "bad challenge." It's clearly worth a try. Ball came out clearly short of the marker, and there are pretty good angles. He may lose it, but it's not bad to challenge this. Why? The reward is minimal on that challenge IMO. It was very very close and at best you get a 4th and inches that a team will convert 95% of the time for a 1st. It's not worth risking 1 of your TOs It's easy to say that now that they went for it. That was a big risk they took. If they don't get it there, the whole game may turn around against the Vikes. It was a good challenge, and a successful one. No I actually said that before the challenge was even made. That is literally somewhere between a 90-95% success rate. If you do a risk analysis I'm confident that the potential reward in that situation does not outweigh the risk.
  3. Vikings get 160 yards on their last 2 drives and only 6 points to show for it.
  4. OK Keep the suck to a minimal Jay. 1-2 drives left to try to tie/win
  5. It was fine in the 1st half. Only 7 points given up

  7. Well I'll be damned. Too bad they will get a sneak here fo rth 1st
  8. the problem is, ponder reaches out with the ball, but then gets hit back slightly and you see him go out of bounds short of the marker. But forward progress makes it seem like he got it, or its too close to overturn.
  9. Challenging the spot of the ball, especially when we're talking about a matter of inches seems like the hardest thing to overturn in football. Also, if the spot is changed and its 4th down, the vikings will just do a QB sneak and get the 1st anyways. Poor challenge IMO.
  10. But at the same time its going to be nearly impossible to change the spot.
  11. looked short to me, bad spot
  12. Yup, I was witholding judgement after last week, but they look just as bad this week.
  13. Vikings have ~150 yards on their last 2 drives, and this ones still going
  14. Of course, huge gain and 15 yards added
  15. I really wish Cutler could shut up the doubters, not make it worse. I still believe in you Cutty but you make it so hard sometimes
  16. Ugh bad throw by Cutler otherwise that was a 1st
  17. If the Vikings actually had a good quarterback, they would be amazing (like they were in 2009)
  18. but its bobbling around in his arms
  19. Damn, thats going to be overturned, INC pass
  20. BEND BUT DONT BREAK
  21. it was a soft zone that relied on the Bears getting some sort of pressure
  22. Jesus. Do we even have a [expletive] pass rush?
  23. dink dunk dink dunk
