  1. So he's saying that Gar/Thibs relationship is horrible, or Gar/Adams? No wonder the Thibs resigning took so long, and he took forever to actually sign the deal. It's tough...I know on one hand the Bulls were up against the luxury tax, but I know the Bulls also purposely signed Kirk to a contract that caused them to have hard cap in place that limited their spending (cant remember how or why that was the case, some rule in the new CBA).
  2. Solid move on what should be a pretty cheap deal. DJ Augustin was dreadful last year, outside of a few games where his 3 pointers were falling. Just make sure you avoid him and Mahinmi on the court together during crunch time in close games.
  3. Agreed. At least GarPax didn't grab him by the tie and shove him* *that we know of
  4. Definitely happy we kept Bickell, but I'm a bit skeptical that he can produce in the regular season like he did in this year's playoffs. Also was reading a Toronto blog yesterday and one of the guy was posting stats that showed that Bolland was one of the best shutdown forwards in the league. But overall, I definitely understand the move and almost certainly would have done the same as what Bowman had to do.
  5. Yeah but Frolik never played with those guys of course.
  6. Will miss you Rat http://i924.photobucket.com/albums/ad90/ChicagoNativeSon/BollyExplosion.png
  7. So where are we at cap wise after getting rid of Montador, Olesz, Bolland and Frolik?
  8. After this last week, Chicago would burn to the ground if Kane was traded
  9. 2013 Blackhawks Eulogy (aka tribute) written by a Wild blogger http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/eulogy-er-tribute-remembering-2012-13-chicago-blackhawks-205546790.html
  10. Or the team just isn't very good.
  11. i was wondering that. awesome. It happened so quickly I didn't even really have time to think about OT. It literally went from "ugh game 7" to "OMFG WERE GONNA WIN THE TITLE"
  12. Full preseason schedule isn't out yet but the longest we will have to wait for more Blackhawks hockey is 81 days:
  13. http://www.wingingitinmotown.com/2013/6/24/4461614/congrats-to-the-chicago-blackhawks-for-winning-the-stanley-cup lol the comments on this post are pretty funny from bitter wings fans, especially when they start posting GIFs of horrible goals Crow's given up in the past (I think I shuddered watching that dump in attempt that went in during the Phoenix series last year)
  14. da dadada dadada dadadadadadada
  15. Awesome sendoff by Keith before "turning it over" to Chelsea Dagger
  16. agreed, and the players can actually touch the Campbell Bowl
  17. This is much more professional than 2010. No throwing up before walking on stage, no freestyle rapping.
  18. I love how Seabs is like the only one to not shave his beard yet
  19. lol this crowd is awesome...from the USA chants after the anthem, to the Detroit sucks chants when Pat was recapping the series, the aforementioned comments to Quinn, and now singing happy birthday to Stan Bowman.
  20. Statement said about every parade that has ever happened, anywhere. True....although it was much more enjoyable in person in 2010.
  21. Boring parade so far....at least the coverage on CSN is not close enough to the actual players, its all views from helicopters.
  22. This is stupid, but I hate that I've seen Oduya, Shaw and Hossa wearing White Sox hats the last couple of days, meanwhile the only person I've seen wearing a Cubs hat is Bollig
  23. http://ftw.usatoday.com/2013/06/doc-rivers-bill-simmons-espn/ Bill Simmons is sometimes interesting on TV, but sometimes he seems way over his head. I dunno, I liked him a lot more when he was writing 3 articles a week for ESPN.
  24. funny, I just noticed that for the first time on the replay as well. Key deflection that was inches from being a goal on it's own.
