  1. Briggs really needs to come back. I'm not sure how it would help the run D but but we need to do something to stop this horrible run d.
  2. May as well keep the pressure on, what the hell They get the Ravens and Giants at home, followed at a completely shiftless Vikings team. You pretty much can only pray for one more loss out of them. (Even given how dumb they are) Bears need to win out I dunno its....really bad. The Bears really shouldn't have lost those last two games, they may not be mathematically out, but...its really bad. Bears will be favored @ CLE and the Ravens need the win @ DET on Monday. I like the odds of that happening and Detroit coming unglued. The lines will probably change after tonight, but I believe the Bears/Browns line opened at Browns -1 or 2
  3. I was thinking about Lions/Vikings today. For one, Peterson might play...maybe maybe not, but there's a chance and it didn't look that way yesterday. But it will also be the last game ever at the Metrodome, so that might be a cause for getting fired up, who knows.
  4. It's funny people feel the need to get ahead of that. I need to brace myself for the week of sports talk annoyance
  5. Pretty sure the Bears could have thrown anyone in there today and been successful. Not putting McCown down but the Cowboys defense is awful. Well yeah I agree, but the meatballs are already about to overthrow Cutler and this will not help at all.
  6. Never thought I'd see a Bears offense good enough to go 3 quarters without punting with their backup QB.
  7. It's going to be hard to fend off the Cutler haters this week.
  8. Obligatory Alshon gif http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-iS3mxeQz7e4/UqaEYHmBxnI/AAAAAAAAEmU/OrF-wnQHz34/s400/jeffcatchtd.gif I almost feel bad for Marshall that he's become an afterthought to his prodigy
  9. Jeez, it looks like they move the line back well, set them up for a loss of yards and somehow he ends up with 5 yards
  10. Bush collapses as soon as he senses pressure.
  11. Meh you get used to it. Not the weather, it sucks to be outside more than 5 minutes, but the whole living life in the cold weather thing. The only thing that truly kills me about winter in Chicago is getting dark at [expletive] 4:15 right now.
  12. And we get the ball to start the 2nd
  13. Jeffery is [expletive] batman
  14. Then he blows a TO in, to me, and obvious spiking situation
  15. How is a TO not automatic there? Come on trestman.
  16. Would be nice if we weren't missing 5 starters, 3 pro bowlers and 2 additional backups for the missing starters
  17. I guess we could call it a victory that we forced two 3rd downs
  18. And even then it has to be 3rd and 7 or longer
  19. I'm sorry bears you aren't allowed to try to strip the ball if you can't tackle them to begin with
  20. If the temperature drops below 16 degrees by game time, as its expected to, it will be the coldest regular season game in Cowboys history. Of course anyone with knowledge of football history knows that it won't be the coldest game, playoffs included, in Cowboys history.
  21. Gonna look back on the Washington and Minnesota losses when this season is over. You win those games that they should have won, they make the playoffs. I think we've discussed this before but we just as easily could have lost the first Minnesota game, the Cincinnati game, the Ravens game, etc. You could make an argument that every game could have gone the other way except the first Lions game, the Saints game and maybe the Steelers game
  22. A December 28 bowl game against Kansas State was not really what I was expecting for Michigan back in September. Oh well
  23. Crawford looks like he just suffered a significant injury. Hope I'm wrong.
  24. So while the Lions loss is great for the Bears, the Packers loss is bad news. One it keeps them very much alive in the divison race (0.5 games behind), and two it makes it pretty likely that not only will Rodgers return, but will be playing Week 17 against the Bears. I am assuming that unless Rodgers isn't feeling right after coming back, once he returns he will play the rest of the season even if the Packers fall out of the race. I guess our best hope there is that Rodgers isnt able to come back next week and the Packers lose, but I'm thinking he will be back.
  25. Yup. I want this [expletive] over before Week 17. Rather finish 6-10 than 10-6 and still watch the playoffs. I want more excitement this year. Would suck to finish 10-6 and no playoffs again and obviously our draft pick would suffer but I don't care. It's the same reason why I have a hard time rooting for the Bulls to tank.
