One hell of a year for UM sports. Gonna be an optimist and say 2 bad seasons sets up Michigan for the future. Obviously in football, Harbaugh. In basketball, several guys stepped up and this team looks like it could be an upper echelon Big Ten team next year. If anything, this basketball season reinforced my belief in Beilein as a coach. I would like him to do a little better recruiting (although before this last class and the current one he was doing fine), but that is marginalized when he seems to turn lightly regarded recruits into very good players annually. If most non-Kentucky teams lost their 3 best players to the draft, and then lost their 2 best returning players to injury for a majority of the season, they wouldn't even be talking about their NIT bubble bursting today.
