    So is this basically a result of him trying to doctor their books for their own lawsuit against the Cubs? If so, that is some sweet, sweet justice. Amazing. Should have sold your building before the Cubs lawyers found your dirt. This is getting ugly and I love it.

    Finish 3rd, they get the Preds. Finish 1st, they get the Wild. Either way they'd have home ice against in a series against the Wild. The ideal spot is the #2 spot vs Nashville. They pissed away one of their games in hand last night. Yup...they havent looked good at all the last 3 games, 4-0 loss to Dallas, 3-1 win over Carolina that everyone says they looked terrible in (missed that one) and 4-1 loss to Philly. 3 teams that are not going to sniff the playoffs and we looked bad in all 3. Of course they were 6-1-0 in the 7 games prior so who knows whats going on with the team. Last year they slumped a little to the finish and were a bad bounce away from likely winning the Cup.

    What jersey said. Especially not for just half his already modest salary...wtf What if the Cubs won't eat his deal to get rid of him? I guess its not the end of the world for him to be a mop up guy. I realize that this would open up another can of worms with regards to the Cubs financial flexibility, but focusing on this hypothetical situation which to me doesn't seem too outrageous of a scenario, what is the best solution to the Jaxon problem, keeping in mind that trip to colonize Mars won't launch for another decade or so.

    Does anyone else look at the pictures posted online or drive by Wrigley and wonder how in the hell they are going to host a baseball game in 11 days? It looks like a gigantic mess, and not just the bleachers.

    Gah tonight was a great chance to gain ground as St Louis was in Pittsburgh and Nashville had to play Montreal. Of course both teams got OT victories.

Sounds like the investigation was bungled. I just remember him getting arrested because I was thinking he wouldn't be able to play against the Bears in week 2.
