I definitely saw the one after Game 6. Looked like she was tripping balls. Not just because she was doing funny dances and blowing kisses, but her eyes just had this weirdly blank expression like she was a million miles away.

Anyone else trying to tickets to the Soldier Field rally? I have no idea if they are going to "sell" out in seconds or longer. I will be on at noon

How do we replace Oduya and to a lesser extent Rozival? My concern regarding next year is that the Hawks have played a LOT of hockey the last 3 seasons. And they've already proven to themselves that they can coast through the regular season and turn it up in the playoffs. Keith-Seabrook-Hammer is an elite top 3 but then you are looking at TVR and 2 marginal players filling out the back end. Doing what the Hawks did with 4 blue liners playing 90% of the time for 2 playoff series was nothing short of amazing. But doing that for another 100 games after a 3 month break is impossible. So the 4-6 guys will be getting plenty of minutes and the top 3 will be playing at 80-85 percent. It could work out or the Hawks could really struggle if they can't find 1-2 dependable guys for the 3rd pairing.

This is something I wrote awhile to explain why the fan base bottomed out more than "they sucked". Id post it there but I'm lazy To defend the fan base. Pretend you are a Yankees fan. Pretend Steinbrenner took all home games off of TV. Pretend that over the course of several years, they destroyed the relationship with every one of the team’s stars, and then when it came time to resign them, traded them for 80 cents on the dollar. Then those guys contracts expired and they were traded for 80 center on the dollar. Then pretend that the Yankees alienated guys like Rivera, Jeter, Posada, Yogi Berra, pretty much every former legend that you grew up watching or hearing that was a source of pride for the organization to the point where they did not want to be associated with the team in any capacity. Pretend that Michael Kay was kicked to the curb when he offered light criticism of how the team was run, and was so loyal to New York that he took a job with the Brooklyn Cyclones. Then pretend that despite all this season ticket prices skyrocketed. Pretend that the payroll dropped every year, and that Steinbrenner showed no sign of changing with the times, stubbornly insisting this was the way to run a baseball team even though every other team ran things differently with better results. Pretend that you had to actually hope that a person dies because you wanted to see your favorite team have a shred of dignity, you weren’t even hoping to contend, you just wanted something to be proud of rooting for. Pretend that you loved baseball so much but couldn’t stand to support the Yankees, so you bought seaseon tickets to the Cyclones just so you could root for a baseball team, all while keeping an eye on your real love from afar.

Man I remember in late February when the Hawks were on a slide, one blowout loss in particular to Boston was jarring. There were rumors about Patrick Sharp and the locker room splintering, then Kane goes down for what was thought to be 8-12 weeks. It really seemed like the team was starting to fall apart. Of course that goes to show you how overrated the regular season is when you are an elite team that has won multiple titles. In the end it was a blip in a 10 month journey to a championship.
