  1. That's definitely a good thing since people were speculating between 70-71m, its at the high end of that.
  2. Is offense up this year? Just looking at the individual statistics, it boggles my mind that there two first baseman (Goldschmidt and Cabrera) having better seasons offensively than Rizzo, who in my mind has been an absolute monster. 2015 so far: 1.000+ OPS: 4 (Harper, Goldschmidt, Cabrera, Rizzo) .900-1.000 OPS: 14 .800-.899 OPS: 39 Overall above .800: 57 2014: 1.000+ OPS: 0 .900-1.000 OPS: 8 .800-.899 OPS: 27 Overall above .800: 35 Certainly looks like it from the top, but not sure if the offensive improvement is top heavy or is everyone's offense up.
  3. Using chrome and not having that issue
  4. Against a pitcher with an ERA in the 3.30s Fake edit: ok fine his FIP is still 2.58
  5. 2009 Cubs high water mark was 9 games over so if we can get to 10 games over we will reach our high point since the 2008 Cubs and I believe the 2nd highest point since the 2004 Cubs. Edit: 2007 Cubs peaked at 10 over
  6. Why? Yes he hasn't given them a lot of innings but part of that is because he he started the season injured and needed to stretch the arm out. Outside of 1 bad start he's been fine for a 5th starter, much better than Wood or EJax who would be the expected replacements unless Turner is ready to go. And even if it's turner theres a legit risk that he is worse than Wada
  7. Yes, screw WGN for trying to inform the general public of the movement of a potentially deadly tornado. All I was asking for is a split screen which they finally did.
  8. Who is hanging out in a [expletive] campground with a tornado nearby?
  9. FINALLY a split screen. Way to wise up WGN Chicagoans now have access to a Chicago Cubs baseball game being played in Chicago
  10. Hang on we have a witness on the phone. What are you seeing? "To be honest, I don't really see much right now" Are you freaking kidding me?
  11. new segment: suppolsa airs his Facebook page to viewers
  12. "Oh by the way they're winning 2-1 but let's start from the beginning again and have you say everything you just said. Meanwhile we will show some pictures people are tweeting us."
  13. Can't they just put a small box with the game on? You are paying a lot of money to air these games. Put it on CLTV or the U or something for those that want to watch the game.
  14. Dammit MLB network you should be all over this and look into the game
  15. The thing is, they had the Cubs bat with some of the lights off and now they're fully back on and the Dodgers got a distinct advantage. That being said, how often do protests actually work? Only the Giants against us right? Pine tar game. Of course that was 35 years ago
  16. There are like 9 people in the counties this is effecting, I'm sure they are all informed of what's going on.
  17. They should just call it a game so everyone can get home safely before the storm hits.
  18. The main stuff is going South Yeah I thought so but skilling just showed a graphic where the precipitation radar was pink right over Wrigley at 9:30
  19. Came up lame running back to first after getting back to avoid being doubled up. Looked like an ankle?
  20. Wow Wrigley gonna get pounded in about 30 mins
  21. Why do we need to interrupt the game every 5 minutes especially when there is no new news.
