That's an AB where I would have liked Starlin to be less aggressive since Rizzo just walked on 4 pitches. It was a good pitch to hit, and Starlin hit it hard but obviously it wasn't hit to the right spot.
Obviously he's got the no-no going, but I think he's at 82 pitches through 6. If he's efficient he can get a CG but likely that it would take 120 pitches to get it done at this point.
Arrieta's hopefully the reason we're going to win tonight. However, the offense isn't making any reassurances. Cubs overall are 0-13 with RISP this series, 4-34 this road trip, and if you tack on the Cleveland game, 5-39 this week.
I'd rather get St. Louis too for some reason. Possibly because I think we'd have a better shot of knocking off the Cardinals in a 1 game playoff than in a 5 game series. One game to exercise the demons
