  1. Pirates have the bases loaded and 0 outs in the 6th trailing 4-1
  2. I know RBIs are stupid but KB has been stuck on 99 for awhile. Really want him to reach 100
  3. he hasn't really been in any nosedive. he just hasn't had luck. so you've been seeing those signs all month basically. He's hitting like .188/.650 ops over the last month or so. I completely agree he's been unlucky and that's part of it for sure. I just haven't seen many bad ABs lately like I was seeing a couple of weeks ago. I'll withdraw the word nosedive and replace it with slump his walk rate is up and his k rate is down this month (sept/oct that is), along with the absurdly low babip I guess I have no judgement of time. He has been having better ABs longer than I thought
  4. I love how Len and JD basically just go on an inning long tangent while Jake is in the background mowing down the opponent

  6. Damn. Really good AB by Schwarbs with the worst possible outcome. I'm starting to see him start to show signs of coming out of his nosedive, I think we will start to see some results soon.
  7. Rat boy in da house! Man he's turning into the 2015 Fontenot
  8. So our games are just a whole lot of watching people swing and miss regardless of who is on the field.
  9. I was thinking about my favorite posts over the years. If I ever get ambitious enough I will find them and like them. Trees photoshop will be the first one I do
  10. Good, we'll win tonight and the Pirates will start to feel the pressure waking up only 1.5 up. Or something like that.
  11. Yeah it's wrong of you. I don't understand that logic at all and never have.
  12. Also Bickell was placed on waivers. If I understand it correctly, another team can pick him up if they are willing to absorb his contract. If he clears waivers, he will likely be sent to Rockford, where presumably Dano would be called up. Interesting stuff to say the least.
  13. Hmm...Dano sent to Rockford. That's a bit surprising. Looks like Baun made the team after a good preseason
  14. FYI you also get notifications for each like that says who liked it. Is there anyway to change the heart to something Cubs related?
  15. Cubs need them to take 2 I hope the Reds at least take 1 of the first 2 and the Cubs take care of business so there is something to play for on the last day at least. I'm pretty sure the Pirates will have Cole, Liriano and Burnett going so it will be a tall order.
  16. Here's the list of available extensions. I'm open to adding it if you can find one. https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewforum.php?f=536 I may have found one... Time to test it out. That cutesy heart just screams NSBB :)
  17. sweep the Brewers and finish 0.5 games behind that great 2008 team. Boggles my mind.
  18. Cubs out score the Reds 19-7 in the sweep, only 1 of those runs allowed by a starter.
  19. 94-65 and Jake on the bump tomorrow. Life is good
  20. Middle relief is doing it's screwing around thing, and defense has forgotten how to catch balls cleanly. Will there likely be a staff day one of these last few games? Not sure I want to see that. I missed how Rodney got the first 2 on but excluding that, the pitchers did their job. Rodney got a grounder that Russell botched, then got a double play ball that couldn't be turned fast enough. Richard got a perfectly placed slow grounder that got through, and then Cahill got a ground ball that Baez couldn't field cleanly
  21. Geez, I think the Cubs caught shitty defensitis from watching the Reds too much.
  22. The Reds have certainly been one of "those teams" for the Pirates this year. Good point...every Central team has been one of those teams for Pittsburgh. They are 51-15 against the NL East and West and 32-41 against the Central.
  23. This Reds team is so bad. I don't see how they go into Pittsburgh with any chance of winning at least 2/3 (needed to at least have a shot at hosting the WC game) but I guess stranger things have happened
  24. Good we got the run back that the GR double took away
  25. Another opposite field double for Riz. Good stuff
