The cubs have had numerous points this season and playoffs where many thought 'yep here come the same old Cubs' and every single time they've proven that this team is different. This is another opportunity to prove it. They might not, but I have full confidence that they can. Lets do this!

Jake being asked about the drop in his velocity tonight. Can anyone verify this? That's not a good sign for any future starts.

Yeah I was happy with #RoadBryant tonight. Him and Fowler were pretty much the other 2 that did anything of note offensively tonight

I don't know I'm petrified at asking Jon to do anything other than pitching every 4 days. Fielding, hitting, pickoffs, in general throwing the ball anywhere but to the plate, running, pitching on more than 4 days rest, pitching on less than 4 days rest

You should be a little worried. Any team down 2-0 with their 3 and 4 starters who can barely go 5 innings most starts going in the next 2 should be cause for concern.

And my sports weekend from hell is complete! I'm not even mad anymore, it's quite an accomplishment to survive such a historically devastating weekend of sports. 15 hours of sports watching, 4 stomach punches. And when I wake up it will be Monday. Yay!

Actually this all Vedders fault for playing that song to all the Cubs players. Everytime that [expletive] "All the Way" song is brought to the forefront the Cubs suck. The song actually sounds like one you want to sing after the Cubs break your heart, not as a [expletive] rallying cry.

Yes this is BABIPs way of proving that it's not intentionally screwing over one team. Once the scores reset to 0-0 the bloop hits will continue for the mets, as will the Cubs lineouts to mets players
