  1. If the Cubs win tomorrow, they'll finish with more wins than the Cardinals no matter what. Technically no. If the Cubs win tomorrow it's 101 wins vs 101 wins
  2. Two largest markets in the game. Not all that surprising. Don't tell the BFIB Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I know but at least give Cubs fans a minute to watch their team celebrate on the field. It's not like we do this a lot.
  3. Lackey tomorrow per Matheny which means if we somehow don't win Lance Lynn v Lester in game 5!
  4. Wow not even 20 seconds elapse before throwing it to NY
  5. Love Starlin pausing and calmly throwing
  6. Come on still only need one more out. Make that meaningless
  7. When has Maddon always been saying Jason was his starting in game 4? He hasn't even officially named him the starter until today
  8. Thank God for Dexters HR. I could see Reynolds come I if the tying run is due up. Not a great hitter but obviously he can kill a mistake pitch still.
  9. Thank you Javy. Now I will be refreshing Twitter for Addisons status all night
  10. THAT WAS RESTRAINED JUBILATION FOR STROPY THANKS AGAIN BALTIMORE
  11. Strike him out and celebrate wildly please
  12. Strop is so wildly unpredictable game to game, batter to batter, pitch to pitch
  13. This announcer has mixed up the Cubs and Cardinals twice now. Last inning he said the Cubs have a new battery. This inning he said Garcia was batting in the 6th spot of the Chicago batting order. Dumbass
  14. The luck of having a dumbass on the bases? You're great overstating it. The only way he avoids the ball is heading back towards 1st which is the last thing you want to do if you're not sure the ball is getting through. Disagree. This happens all the time, you always see the runner either stop on a dime or leap over the ball. Castro probably leaped when he should have slowed up, but it was a little unfortunate the ball took the bounce it did
  15. This is like watching those Red Sox-Yankees games a decade ago
  16. I think Wood starts the 8th and if he gets into any trouble Rondon comes in for a 2 inning save
  17. Not in terms of score but in terms of intensity this feels like game 3 of the 2003 NLCS where every half inning was full of drama and you never felt relaxed until Remlinger tagged Castillo
  18. TBS has to break for live coverage of the Dodgers warming up in the field between innings.
  19. Where is the pitchers spot right now? Batting 2nd? Wood, Rodney or ..... strop in the 8th?
  20. He's gonna find a way to blame it on Starlin anyways
