  1. I have no idea why they stopped handing off to Gurley
  2. Random question: if you line up for a PAT and there is a penalty on the defense, can you then choose to go for 2 points from the 1 yard line or once you've decided to go for 1 do you have to stick with it?
  3. Who is even fast on this team? None of the active receivers have ever been known as speedy, same with the RBs. Maybe Carey? I thought Wilson was supposed to be a burner You could be right. I haven't seen enough of him
  4. Who is even fast on this team? None of the active receivers have ever been known as speedy, same with the RBs. Maybe Carey?
  5. Ok we're back to the "if it goes in the end zone don't ever [expletive] take it out" rule
  6. Yeah I'm done with Mariani
  7. Now the unquestioned best TE named Zach Miller in the NFL.
  8. I...uhh.. What????
  9. I don't think it's a good idea to ever sell out for one player even Gurley. The first few play calls took advantage of that and threw the Bears completely off rhythm. They adjusted and then Gurley in turn gashed them on the ground. Bears are 1 step behind
  10. We may not emerge victorious in this one
  11. I think the only way ND gets into the title game now is if Clemson loses the ACC title game. Even then, it might be tough. Oklahoma/OK State, Iowa/OSU/MSU, Alabama/Florida should get the other 3 spots. I wouldn't say it's the only way. OK State and Oklahoma still have Baylor/TCU and each other on the schedule. Agreed on the Big Ten. Obviously an outside shot Michigan messes everything up bc if OSU wins at home against Sparty, they control the rest of their destiny to win the Big Ten but they'd have to win at Happy Valley, against OSU who has never lost a regular season Big Ten game with Urban Meyer as coach and against Iowa with a playoff spot at stake for them. And yeah the SEC champ will get the 3rd spot unless Florida loses to FSU then turns around and beat Bama (and even then a 2 loss SEC champ might get in over a 1 loss ND because SEC) Edit: long rambling post to say that I still think the Big 12s spot is in jeopardy because I could see ND getting in over any of the teams at 1 loss except probably OU
  12. His injury is the reason Houston was in the game to get the 2 sacks on the last defensive series.
  13. When Michigan scored in 2OT I said there was no way UM was getting the ball back. Either they would somehow stop IU (I was thinking TO) or the Hoosiers were gonna score and go for 2. Mad props to IU, good game
  14. I'm gonna have nightmares of Indiana gashing the Michigan defense for awhile.
  15. They've had a few injuries and the lack of depth has hurt them a little.
  16. I'm pretty sure that not one opposing fan base has enjoyed watching their team play Indiana this year. Even the Penn State game they were within a score until less than a minute left in the 3rd quarter.
  17. What a strange world we live in. When Rozival last played he was a hated weak link on the blue line. Now him and Keith are coming back as saviors
  18. To his credit, they have already played 10 whole games
  19. Wisconsin loses at home to Western Illinois. Umm go Big Ten?
  20. Illinois losing at "home" by 13 to North Florida at halftime. I know North Florida made the tourney last year but come on.
  21. I love that I'm watching this and I see the OF stands and say "that's where Soler hit one of his dongs in the playoffs" Ok back to Klinnsman hating
  22. Wait you have to pay money to stream BTN games that aren't on the air now? That's infuriating.
  23. Michigan should be interesting this year. Last year they were struggling and that was before 2 of their best 3 players were lost for the season (LaVert and Walton). They still struggled when those guys went down but a bunch of guys that werent expected to be big factors stepped up and they were pretty competitive in just about every game. They probably would have made the NIT if Northwestern didn't hit like 6 improbable 3's in a double OT loss towards the end of the year. Now pretty much everyone is back along with a random German dude and everyone has them as a 4-8 seed in the tourney. I think its possible they get to that point but not a certainty.
