  1. Was that the 2002 series that we were shut out 3 games in a row?
  2. Several terrible turnovers. It was only a matter of time before it burned the hawks Elliot is a horsefeathering monster
  3. So much for Beltre:
  4. I think the Blackhawks are going to have to score at some point if they are going to win the series.
  5. So David is to blame for the Mets series and the loss today? Boo! CT you've been absolved of blame just this once
  6. well that was a quality stomping. Let's return the favor tomorrow and Sunday
  7. I mean, he is going to hit like .275 with 12 homers and a .350 OPB. You are going to be incredibly frustrated by him if you concentrate so much on his offense. Still, I'd rather see Rizzo and Bryant get more plate appearances than Heyward. I am not sure I'm a fan of the lineup order. Well it was averaging over 7 runs a game coming into today and you know that Joe will tweak it a million times this year because that's what he does so nothing to worry about.
  8. I keep hearing people say this but I really have no idea what the benefits of doing away with errors would be.
  9. I'm gonna keep updating this until its not a trend anymore or until people get too annoyed at me. Cubs 2-3-4 hitters are 3-45 with 3 singles combined on this homestand (record 3-0, maybe soon 3-1)
  10. 2008 was my fav That was great. Recency bias but I'll still take Bryant's walkoff.
  11. Wow this is just a poorly played game by the Cubs
  12. OK if Addison is making errors, this is not our day. edit: ok maybe on rizzo
  13. Yes, and just wait until pitchers start challenging him rather than nibble and risk walking him.
  14. i mean bartolo colon is starting for a supposed contender, soooo Yeah I know but I hear his name all the time. Qualls is a run of the mill reliever that I forgot existed until he came into the game.
  15. Addy walk followed by Javy Grand Slam please
  16. I can't believe Chad Qualls is still pitching. Dude was the losing pitcher in game 1 of the 2004 NLCS
  17. Maybe its unnecessary to try to justify why the Cubs might actually lose a baseball game, but the team is making a lot of mental errors we aren't accustomed to. 3 errors, passed ball, 2 outs on the base paths. Total day game after night game lack of focus.
  18. 2 errors on Bryant today. Credit to him for actually playing today and not having another phantom stomach virus though
  19. Maybe I have bad memory but it doesnt seem like a lot of the Rockies hits have been hit particularly hard.
  20. That breaks an 0-26 from our 3 and 4 hitters on this homestand
  21. Rockies are really going to regret trying to suppress our offense today during the rest of this weekend
