    Yep. That deal just screams “I’m taking the most money and that’s the only reason I’m going there”. Because my perception of the western United States is all skewed I thought maybe Colorado made sense as it’s close to Vegas and with twins on the way having family somewhat close by would be a perk but it appears Denver is about as far from LV as Chicago is from New York lol "Close" is relative. The drive through Utah is nice, and there are a lot of Mormons in Colorado, too.

    The local bar got a trackman, and they charge 30 bucks an hour. Pretty nice to have around when there is still snow on the ground and spring is teasing its arrival. Got heckled toting golf clubs around in my neighborhood, though. Your local bar has a $20k golf ball tracker? Yeah, I have to guess they got it used, and it seems to think I hit my 3 wood the same distance as my driver, so it has some issues.

    I've seen reporting that 12 teams gets MLB an extra 85 million, and 14 teams gets an additional 15 million on top of that. So owners are going through all of this when their big incentive is less than 4 million/team and the players have already agreed to ~3 million of that incremental revenue. On a related note, I think they should rename the regular season as 'The Playoffs.' And call the playoffs 'The Series of World Series.' And call the World Series "the Real World Series from Amazon.com"

    I think it's projection. They have no remaining fantasies that they can be a professional baseball player, but most idiots still think they can get rich. It's their last remaining ambition/dream.

    ...being in sole-first of the Big 10 isn't a thing I guess? It’s great to win the league, but not all schedules are created equally. Wisconsin didn’t have to go to Michigan, Michigan St or Iowa and only played Illinois once. And I will also be laying the hammer with Purdue -2.5 tonight. I think that's a good bet, and SSR's point is way valid, but dogging Wisconsin for SOS is silly. They are 13th in the nation in SOS, 6th highest in the Big 10. (Illinois is 6th and 1st, respectively.)

    Wisconsin is the team I'm most confident will horsefeathers the bed come March. Other than a win @ Purdue, what have they really done? They beat Houston and St Mary's, I guess.............? ...being in sole-first of the Big 10 isn't a thing I guess?

    End of the Badgers-Wolverines got testy. Badgers had the game in hand, and landed a 3 with a little over a minute remaining, and that annoyed Juwan Howard. So he put on the full-court press when the scrubs came in to close the game out. Wisconsin almost turned it over, and one of their players lost a shoe. So Wisconsin called a timeout, which further infuriated Howard, who then had this team foul on the in-bound. Game ends with little else of note, but Howard took his time getting in the handshake line. He then said something to Gard (Wisconsin coach), and Gard stopped Howard, and then things got heated, with Howard slapping/grabbing a Wisconsin assistant coach in the face, and a few players threw a few haymakers in the scrum. I was entertained.

    If Jokic keeps this up for a decade or less, I think he's up there with Shaq, Kareem, and Wilt as the best big of all time, no?

    horsefeathers em all. Seems like it’s all mostly old guys like Phil, Kokrak, Hoffman, Poulter, Westwood, Stenson, etc. Bryson, DJ and Ancer are the only younger guys they might get. The league is going to be a disaster and nobody will watch or care. I'll admit this will be convenient for me.
