  1. It was reported last week that McCaskey and Phillips made Poles hire Eberflus, so it would make sense that if they still like him they won’t let Poles fire him if he wanted to
  2. People thought Fields got Nagy fired?
  3. I’m with Bernstein. The bar for this team is too low if Eberflus is indeed kept. Poles talked about owning the North, and the Bears are 2-10 in Division play. I wonder how much influence Warren and McCaskey had in this if they ultimately hired Eberflus in the first place? After week 3 or 4, some people expected Eberflus to be fired that week. Not only wasn’t he fired, but he was kept even after the Bears lost three double-digit 4th quarter leads and missed the playoffs and finished last in the Division again. I don’t want to hear that Eberflus kept the team together after the dumpster fire that it was early on of his own making.
  4. I don’t think Fields is the guy and I want Caleb Williams, but what’s the down side to keeping Fields for now and trading him and some point in the future if Williams looks the part?
  5. Would you take the #1 pick or Jordan Love right now?
  6. They are smarter than that. Go after Harbaugh.
  7. Not going to win kicking FGs
  8. Did Getsy call a play where your kick returner is trying to block a DE CD one-on-one right where Justin is running?
  9. Brett should have led with the Harbaugh’s connection to the Bears instead of burying it at the bottom
  10. The Bears are the better situation, even with Herbert in LA. Going up against Mahomes for the next decade won’t be fun.
  11. What he did was very unusual, but it can happen. The Bears have a better foundation to build upon than Stroud has too.
  12. A few days ago on the radio Jaylon Johnson said that he’s playing, but he’s listed as doubtful on the injury report
  13. Kind of a weird story by Bears PR on a day in the life of Kevin Warren. https://www.chicagobears.com/news/day-in-the-life-bears-president-ceo-kevin-warren#:~:text=Warren focuses on hitting the, work to be done yet. “Arriving at the office just before 7:00 a.m., Warren greets the woman at the front desk with a "Happy New Year" before heading upstairs.” “At 7:40 a.m., Warren heads back downstairs to the building's gym for his workout, starting with over 30 minutes on the StairMaster while listening to his 90s Mix playlist on Spotify featuring songs like "Mo Money Mo Problems" by The Notorious B.I.G, "Superstar" by Ms. Lauryn Hill and his personal favorite — "Be Happy" by Mary J. Blige.” “Right at 10:15 a.m., Warren is out the door with his suit jacket, overcoat and Louis Vuitton bag in hand. He takes the elevator down to the parking garage, jumps in his spotless car and drives down to the entrance of his apartment building.”
  14. Zach passed up some open shots to facilitate. He wasn’t playing the usual one-on-one Zach basketball. Too bad it took him being injured to realize that. I partially blame Donovan for not forcing more ball movement these last few years.
  15. Bulls falling back to reality without Vooch. Will be interesting to see how Coby plays when Zach comes back which could be was early as tomorrow.
  16. I think he'll make it once the Super Bowl receivers are replaced or someone is injured and can't go. There might be less of that now that they are playing flag football though.
  17. If Eberflus stays, he has to be the DC next year. That’s a good chunk of his value to the team.
  18. Maybe that was part of it, but at the very least Eberflus hasn’t put any extra weight behind beating the Packers this week
  19. Eberflus called this week’s game a “normal game”
  20. I'll admit that I wanted Fields gone a few weeks ago and maybe I still do, but I really do salivate at the idea of Moore, Harrison Jr, Kmet, a decent line with a new C, and a solid running game - especially with this defense. Add someone like Hunter and if Fields progresses, that's team that can go very deep in the playoffs.
  21. Trade back to #3 with Washington and get Harrison Jr and at least Washington's #1 pick next year
