    If Fields wants any chance of being on the Bears next year, he has to engineer a game-winning TD drive. This is his career with the Bears.

    Fields is not a 4th quarter QB and he won’t be the Bears QB next year

    By the rule, you can’t throw all your weight on the QB and drive him to the ground. But you also can’t initiate head-to-head contact on the QB even if he is a runner. Both should have been called.

    They have their 1st rounder in 2024 and if they have a top-10 pick in 2025 it’s the Bulls’ pick (11+ goes to the Spurs)

    Fields played very well and if he keeps on playing like this it will make Poles' decision more difficult. The loss was on the defense. With that said, I would have liked the offense to finish a few more drives. They settled for too many FGs.

    Both QBs are throwing for the same number of yards per game and are putting up the same points. I don’t see a better resume from Fields.

    Fields has more upside obviously. But we’re undecided on Fields in year three and Bagent only has a handful of games under his belt with very little time with the #1s and has shown that he has some talent. Why does Fields get 3 years and Bagent gets 3 games? Yes start Fields when he’s healthy, but I wouldn't dismiss Bagent this soon. Bagent doesn’t have the arm strength necessary to be great. Fields doesn’t have the decision-making to be great. With that said, Fields' is 11th in TDs and 14th in rating even though he's missed 3 games and the Bears are 14th in points. Not too shabby.

    I don’t think anyone said draft Stroud with the #1 pick. I can’t blame Poles for that. No one saw him being this good.
