  1. Still can’t believe the Bears hired a President who is pulling them away from the land they bought in Arlington Heights
  2. I haven’t heard anyone take that angle yet
  3. Is it legal per MLB’s rules for Ohtani to pay off his interpreter’s gambling debts? Just a stab, but I wonder if Ohtani’s spokesperson might have changed the story if that’s true.
  4. Why would Justin want to go to the Steelers knowing he’s going to be a backup and they want to sign Russ to a long-term deal?
  5. You’re talking about Fields, but we were talking about Williams. Or did I misread who this was directed to?
  6. That has to be something for Caleb to improve on. And I hope he will, but it was one of Fields biggest weaknesses, if not his biggest and I don’t want to go back to that.
  7. Has there ever been a better offensive supporting cast for a #1 QB pick to come into than the 2024 Bears?
  8. I don’t think he’s going to play enough to even make that narrative possible. Edit: Supposedly the Steelers want to give Russ a long-term contract after the 2024 season. But why not now unless they don’t trust him.
  9. I said if Caleb is only good at making plays when the called play breaks down, it can be assumed that he’s not good at making quick reads
  10. If he not good at making the right quick decision, that’s a red flag
  11. I don’t mind the crying, just don’t like going to your parents with it in the stands. Not a big red flag, but I think it’s a little one.
  12. The Bears needed a WR2 and a DE, so I guess the easiest way to get both was to trade for Allen and draft a DE at #9 or near that. But I really wanted Odunze.
  13. Caleb has some red flags (crying to his patents, too much of a diva, not meeting the media last year, is he only good when he uses his athleticism when plays break down), but Bears fans are completely wacked if they think that staying with Fields is going to get you anywhere near a championship even with a great surrounding cast. Fans are usually dumb and because Fields is a good guy, that’s clouding their vision. The Bears have to try something different and it would be GM malpractice to pass a QB with the overall #1 pick two years in a row when your current QB situation is at the bottom of the league.
  14. Steelers don’t trust Russ
  15. Which is why I still want them to draft Odunze. You don’t miss out on his talent for 1-3 years of Allen and his injury susceptibility.
  16. Incredible trade by Poles. Could be an all-timer. Thank you, Lovie and some miracle completions by the Texans.
  17. 1.1 isn’t getting traded
  18. I don’t want extra picks. Get Odunze, Latu, or Turner.
  19. I would rather have Odunze than Allen if they end up trading the 9th pick now
  20. The Bears just don’t like having a lot of great skill position players for some reason
  21. I don’t know if I believe that, but Poles had had plenty of time to figure out what to do with Fields. The determination had to be made before free agency.
  22. Would they keep Soldier Field? The columns are protected, right?
  23. PFF had Byard as the 11th best safety last year. I’ll take that.
  24. For all the Fields defenders, what the Bears will end up getting for him will show just how below average he is. At this point, any draft pick will do. He can't stay on as a backup with the Bears even if the return is incredibly weak because that's going to put unnecessary pressure on Williams if he starts out the season struggling.
