I'm not a huge Lovie fan, but I think he does get the most out of his players. I think he will get the most out of Jeffery (NOT JEFFERIES) and there is so much upside. The downside is that the first two draft picks could go terribly terribly wrong.

I guess good news. "At 10:05 p.m., Hossa was wheeled out of the emergency room exit at Northwestern Memorial hospital to a waiting Porsche. He got into the car on his own power. He had his hand to his forehead as he was wheeled out. A Blackhawks staffer there was carrying his equipment in a bag and said he couldn't comment on his injury. $2500 fine to spite the Hawks. I really don't know how hockey suspensions/penalties go, but what should have Shaw's punishment been? Sounds like they should have switched Weber's and Shaw's punishments.

It must have been 1985 or 1986 because Eckersley hit a homer and he only hit homers in those years as a Cub. Me and my dad sat in the upper deck, first base side. I think the Cubs played the Padres because my dad told me to boo the heck out of Garvey. I just remember thinking "What the heck does boo and hiss mean?" but I kept on doing it.
