  1. I thought that Halladay would be the guy who could throw 88 max at the end of his career and still be decent. Guess not.
  2. How can Onobun make this team? Is he a great blocker or something? Hub said the Bears think he has Antonio Gates' skill set
  3. "Players' lawyers said they expect the fund to cover the ex-athletes' expenses for 65 years. Current players are not covered."
  4. Why wouldn't Trestman just admit it was a scheduled follow up exam? They probably told him to cool off, get your mind off football, and we'll get a dr to check your hip. Trestman might be handling this well.
  5. More valuable keeping him I would guess. Could you even get a 7th rounder for him? One more concussion his career could be over.
  6. Trestman said Marshall's upcoming personal days were scheduled before training camp. Do you believe that?
  7. What would Cabrera need to hit per year through age 40 to take out Bonds' HR record?
  8. Trestman said Marshall is working his tail off, but Marshall says the coaching staff is pushing him too hard. OK. Is this just Marshall being weird?
  9. Wow is this imaginary radio or is Hub popping a Bears offensive boner?
  10. I didn't pick him primarily for return points. Primarily tackles, ints, sacks. I thought Peterson was close to league lead in ints. But I went with a guy who I thought could get punt returns too.
  11. I drafted Patrick Peterson as my defensive player in my Yahoo fantasy league. Stupid question, but I get points when he returns one for a TD right?
  12. Bears game starting now but not on NFL network for another hour?
  13. The Bucs have a MRSA problem at their facility. Nicks and Tynes have it. That's not good at all. http://espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp13/story/_/id/9592149/tampa-bay-buccaneers-treat-facility-prevent-mrsa-outbreak
  14. Slowest pitch I've ever seen in MLB
  15. I never thought there would be a chance he would get fined. A flag wasn't even thrown.
  16. What stick got up Hub's butt again?
  17. Oh, OK; you're just saying things.
  18. How much money did he make in his career?
  19. They shouldn't even play the season if you know who's gonna be in the playoffs. Jay could improve. So could the line. I do think the Bears can win the SB this year.
  20. How long have you been on this board? are you taking a shot at yourself here? Yes. But seriously, what I'm doing is not new to me. Favre threw a bunch of INTs. But he threw a ton of TDs. He made up for it. Cutler hasn't done that here yet. The offense will improve with a real TE, a better Jeffery, and a better line. But that won't even get you to the NFC Champ game. Cutler has to be great. Sure it will get you there. And Cutler only had to be good against the packers in 2010. But in the NFC in 2013, good won't get you there. The NFC is much stronger now. The Seahawks of '10 were one of the worst playoff teams I have ever seen in the second round. A good Jay isn't going to beat Atlanta, San Fran, Seattle, and maybe Washington. Even if he had to be consistently good, that is an improvement which is what I've been saying all along. And Jay has yet to prove he can be consistently good.

  22. How long have you been on this board? Long enough to enjoy it when you venture off on one of your little...things. I am here for your enjoyment. Just you.
  23. Just about any QB can be a SB winning QB. Yes. Dilfer did. But on this team, Cutler has to be Pro Bowl level. Interesting, considering the defense on this team was the best in the NFL last year. Didn't realize losing gimpy Brian Urlacher made this a team that had to rely completely on its offense/QB to get anywhere. Third in points. But the Bears were going nowhere in the playoffs if they had made it even with a better line if Cutler is not significantly better. The player who plays the single most important position in all of team sports has to be great unless you are on the 1985 Bears or 2000 Ravens. This Bears defense is good, but not that good.
