  1. That puck was redirected by the Red Wing defender wasn't it?
  2. Now that's how you forget about the blown call. HAWKS!
  3. One thing to call the penalty. Another to not give the Hawks a power play on top of it. Just score 30 seconds in and just forget that play happened.
  4. Stupid penalty Bolland. Whhhyyyy?
  5. Is there really anything in the last three games that would lead someone to think they could win 3 in a row?
  6. I've heard Rocketbladez are longer, but only because of the decrease in lofts and the added shaft length. If you put those specs on other clubs as this review shows, there is no distance gain. I've hit the Rocketballz Stage 2 3 wood in a simulator, and I was hitting it 20-30 yards longer than my gamer, a Ping G25. Problem is that it has at least half of an inch longer of a shaft. Hard to control. Just felt weird.
  7. Did you get Rocketblades or Rocketballs irons?
  8. I played MP-30s for a while. Great clubs. I might go back to Mizuno one day. Probably the best forged clubs outside of Muira.
  9. How much profit are the Hawks making these last few years compared to the pre-Rocky years? I just don't know why Bill Wirtz didn't run the team like his son unless they were making more money them.
  10. So playing someone a fair amount of minutes helps a person get over plantar fasciitis? You don't even understand what plantar fasciitis is. Are your chances greater or not that it flares up if you overuse someone?

  12. Thibs needs a little Popovich in him for that to happen. It isn't a coincidence that the Bulls are injury probe. You don't have to treat a regular season game as if it's a playoff game. It's Thibs's glaring weakness.
  13. You could structure that sentence the same way about him leaving his house, or eating at restaurants, or playing XBox or literally any other non-basketball related activity. The percentages are far higher for injuring yourself playing pro sports than daily living I would imagine
  14. Uh, what? Based on what? Are there greater injury rates for NBA players playing for their national teams than I'm aware of? Because I'm pretty sure you're just meatballin' right now. He's statistically more likely to get hurt washing his car or slipping in the shower. There's obviously a greater risk playing in practice/games with that level of intensity than private workouts. People get hurt far more often there than in the offseason. If you disregard the medical standard for ACL recoveries, then you're right. Otherwise, your logic is bad and you should feel bad. Yeah I bet the medical standard says play in absolutely unnecessary games when you get could the very same thing in the preseason and lessen your chance of reinjury or a new injury. Sure.
  15. I don't even see a point you are making here. He has all season to get into shape. He has 6 months of games to get ready for what really matters - the '14 NBA playoffs. No reason to risk playing with Team USA. Do you really want him risking blowing out his knee prior to the 2014 playoffs? Dude could tank his entire career in some random regular season game against Toronto. The smart play would actually be to hold him out until the 2014 NBA Finals. He would be well-rested and healthy. No brainer imo. And lose home court advantage and the 1 or 2 seed.

No reason to risk playing with Team USA. Except that every single medical evaluation of ACL rehab involves playing in competitive games to break through the mental barrier of trusting the ligament and breaking scar tissue. Him playing for the national team allows him to get through that crap during non-meaningful games, thereby allowing him to be in better form when the NBA season starts. This isn't hard. It's called preseason. He'll be in just fine form by November.

  18. The Bulls won't get one single seed higher if Rose plays with Team USA. But the injury risk could wreck their season.

  20. You are much more likely to miss significant time due to injury next year playing ball with Team USA than anything else
  21. You do what is necessary to prepare, but the extra stuff seems like a slap in the face if you can't play in the playoffs 2 months after being cleared. Playing with Team USA isn't necessary.
  22. It's not that it's more likely to occur vs preseason stuff, but it's more likely to occur than typical summer workouts I bet
  23. A totally new injury could occur. Easy to say when you're not paying him $17 million a year.
  24. Unnecessary time on the knee where he could injure that or something else is always the concern
