Not even bad moves by Joe can stop this team -
I would have PH Schwarber in the first for Heyward. Clueless at the plate yet Joe trots him out there again and again.
-
Did we ever find out who said no to a 1pm start yesterday? I saw TBS said it wasn't them but didn't see anything else. Torre made it seem like it was MLB's call, but they had to consider TBS and TBS did't want a 1 PM start.

Strasburg said he's surprised at how well he pitched
-
Dusty said it will either be Roark or Gio tomorrow. He's not sure who will start yet.
-
He owns Daniel Murphy, for what that's worth. Problem is Joe will never let Wilson face Murphy in a key situation
-
Theo put him on it to try to salvage his trade because he had good numbers against Murphy while his hottest reliever in Rondon was left off and could have been used in the two critical 8th innings this series
-
Holy cow I forgot that was only the 8th inning. Thought the game was over.
-
Taylor has hit pretty well this series. Their best hitter right now.
-
KB had one swing today and it was the huge uppercut swing. But Strasburg pitched him really tough with some nasty changes in counts that are typically fastball counts.
-
Theo and Joe gotta get on the same page. Rondon was in good form headed into October and Theo put Wilson on the roster instead of Rondon. But Joe won't use Wilson and he could have used Rondon in the two games they lost. Better put Rondon on the roster if the Cubs make the NLCS.

Unbelievable, but not entirely surprising

Heard NE winds 15-30 MPH which means wind blowing in. Favor Cubs or Nats?
-
Any chance that Strasburg is such a creature of habit that he was preparing for Thursday all along and would not alter his schedule and the Nats are covering for him? https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/stephen-strasburg-and-nationals-commit-biggest-error-of-the-season/2017/10/11/fdcab2de-ae81-11e7-be94-fabb0f1e9ffb_story.html

You’ve obviously never had bad A/C before. The worst!
-
Dusty helped me not hate TBS for the rest of my life
-
Nats beat reporter Jamal Collier tweeted the Nationals say Dusty misspoke and Strasburg threw a bullpen yesterday, but he’s under the weather and his endurance is down. Still dumb. Strasburg has to be riduculously sick or this is mind bogglingly dumb.
-
Get involved how? Strasburg already threw his bullpen session today. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk Why would he throw a bullpen? Healthy enough to do that, but not start tomorrow?
-
Just when you thought you’ve seen it all, Dusty outDustys himself. Holding off Strasburg’s most important start of his career because of bad A/C and mold when you could go Strasburg game 4 and Gio Game 5 with Scherzer out of the pen if needed. Mike Rizzo has to get involved. Without a doubt if the Nats lose tomorrow, fireable offence.
-
Why did Zobrist not bunt at Zimmerman who can’t throw? He was playing deep too.
-
Great night for maybe Hendricks’ best changeups I’ve ever seen. Unhittable, disappearing pitches.
-
holy horsefeathers, did you just disappear for a year then drop back in with ... optimism? Just lurking. I have the Nats in five though.
-
Rondon hasn’t given up a earned run or a walk in like 10 appearances. Even L/R splits while Wilson has a 9+ ERA with the Cubs against lefties. Wilson has some good numbers against Murphy, but that’s when Wilson was good. Joe isn’t going to put Wilson in a situation that’s critical against the Murphy or Harper anyway.
