  1. Zach got lubed up and he’s good to go
  2. Golf media has been pretty much unified in its opposition to the SGL. How can they not be, since the King of Saudi Arabia killed one of their own? As Will Bardwell just wrote, sportswashing is designed to stop human rights reforms, but the players threatening to leave are saying that they think the new league will open up reforms in Saudi Arabia. The SGL isn’t a truly competitive league. They are willing to lose hundreds of millions to take the heat off of their human rights issues. It’s not an open market that the players are missing out on. And the Saudis found willing pawns in Phil and Bryson and DJ who are greedy enough not to care how the sausage is made. Phil and DJ have reportedly been offered over $100 million for a few years plus on-course earnings. Bryson has reportedly been offered $230 million. Tiger has only made $130 million on-course in his career. This is big money. The SGL wants to start this summer. The big questions are how many players will leave, will they be banned by the PGA Tour and DP Tour if they leave, will sponsors leave these players if they go to the SGL (Royal Bank of Canada wouldn’t let Dustin Johnson where their logo in Saudi Arabia), will they get world ranking points if they leave, will the majors let them in even if they have qualified for those tournaments, who will broadcast these tournaments (Fox, streaming?), and will the players sue the PGA Tour or the majors if they get kicked out. Basically, they want appearance fees from the PGA for the top golfers. That's what this is about. It's kind of sickening to me that blood money is the tool by which they are trying to extract extra money from the PGA. Chamblee was right to call out Mickelson. I guess private jets don't pay for themselves. I don't play or watch golf for a good reason. $230 million is far more than traditional appearance fees. The money being thrown at these players makes appearance fee money seem tiny.
  3. 5,000 seat stadium. Ouch!

  5. The same one that did his ACL surgery
  6. Vooch is shooting threes again. Somebody stop him.
  7. I expect Caruso back tomorrow too!
  8. What would it take to get Sabonis? Coby and Williams and more?
  9. Ayo with an unbelievable finish. But my goodness LeVert was unstoppable. Surprised he missed a shot. Win is a win. Keep ‘em coming.
  10. Robbie Hummel is a pretty darn good backup for Stacey
  11. I wondered the same thing
  12. He knew he would be asked about Beach. Had months to prepare. And he went that route.
  13. The Dolphins were 5-11 in 2019 and 9-7 against the spread when the coach was allegedly paid to lose by the owner. Gambling is tough, kids.
  14. There’s a 25 second serving shot clock that Nadal pushes to the limit. Not sure if you have to toss the ball before 25 seconds or just bounce it off the ground where you serve. Novak also plays loose with the rules with his “bathroom breaks” between sets.
  15. Because the Bears have plenty of money. If you have a few billion to build a new stadium, you have enough to pay a coach. It could be Poles had his guy and didn't feel the need to interview rather than being cheap. The Bears were interviewing coaches before Poles was hired
  16. Maybe not, but money can’t be the reason he wasn’t interviewed Why interview a $1K hooker if all you have in your pocket is $60? Because the Bears have plenty of money. If you have a few billion to build a new stadium, you have enough to pay a coach.
  17. Was that reported anywhere? $100 mil is the going rate for stud coaches. If the Bears would have hired Harbaugh for less money, they should get out of ownership. You just can’t suck for as long as they have without hitting a home run. He's not that good lol Maybe not, but money can’t be the reason he wasn’t interviewed
  18. The Bears spoke to Harbaugh and he wanted $100M and they balked. And I don't blame them lol Was that reported anywhere? $100 mil is the going rate for stud coaches. If the Bears would have hired Harbaugh for less money, they should get out of ownership. You just can’t suck for as long as they have without hitting a home run.
  19. The Vikings are interviewing Harbaugh. Don’t know why the Bears didn’t interview him. At least find out what he has to say.
  20. Nadal up 3-2 in the 5th set after being down 2-0 sets. If he closes this out, he would have the most men’s majors all-time and did it at a place that Novak has historically dominated.
  21. A GM who’s never picked players or negotiated contracts before, a head coach who’s never been in charge before, and an offensive coordinator who’s never called plays in the NFL before. Hope this works!
  22. Tampering I guess. And yet only 0.5 games out of the East lead.
