Exactly. Vaccine requirement doesn’t apply to performers in Chicago. The Nets could also pay a $98,000 fine to let Kyrie play the rest of the home games in New York which they will probably do as the season drags on.

What a crapshow. Supposedly the panel that gave an unvaccinated Novak the green light sees only an anonymous application, but some players are let in and others aren’t. If the Australian govt wasn’t going to let him in, then this was all pointless.

Olin Kreutz and Patrick Mannelly this morning were talking about the decision to hire a GM in 2015. Chris Ballard was interviewed and told Bears brass stuff they didn’t want to hear - the truth. They didn’t like that and hired Pace. The main issue with this team is ownership. I just don’t have any confidence that they will hire the right football czar or GM. They haven’t since Lovie.

Pretty sure if you ask people within the game, they'd say it's a classy move to give the HOF vet a chance to finish out his career on the field. It will also potentially help you sign guys in the future, so it's not all bad. All that said, I would have played Jenkins. Yea I think the Ifedi over Borom choice was a lot more egregious. Borom is basically already better than Ifedi. Ifedi has just shown up his teammate. It seemed forced as part of a dumb revenge game captain decision. Peters over Jenkins is still annoying as a fan, but I get it more. And neither decision is gonna be a make or break thing for those guys into next year. Nagy said Borom didn’t start last week because he didn’t know if he was back to full strength after covid. Whatever.

If the Saints finish their season in a week or two as expected, the Bengals might be my rooting interest. They’re a fun team. They just put up some stat about the Bengals being the first team in NFL history to have a 4000 yard passer, 1000 yard rusher, and two 1000 receivers ALL 25 years old or younger Whatever. The Bears beat them!
