  1. horsefeathers it, we haven't used La Stella or Rob Z anyway. DO IT.
  2. The time from this pitching change to the end of the inning would go quicker than if Pedro Baez would've struck Javy out on 3 pitches.
  3. hahahaha Joe's reaction on that challenge
  4. The whole point of Almora is defense. Why the horsefeathers does Joe not trust him to do that. You can't be scared of removing Heyward there.
  5. Thank God. But anyway, if Joe can't trust Soler or Contreras in the outfield, you have to see if Almora can put together a few AB's. Heyward's bat has had much more of an impact than his glove. You can't just keep running him out there just because. And horsefeathers, Almora might be a better defender anyway.
  6. This is probably a smart move. Lester can actually handle Maeda's velocity.
  7. But still, I wouldn't mind moving Javy to 3rd for this game just in case.
  8. As Kyle said last game, there was a free out and a free strike due to his yips. It's almost like his yips are so bad it's affecting the opposing offense more than Lester.
  9. Just give me Almora, no matter the pitcher.
  10. Lol Lackey was pissed Contreras didn't catch that last pitch cleanly when it was a foot outside and missed his spot by three feet.
  11. I wonder if the plan is to have Rob Z be Lackey's lefty piggy back partner tomorrow. That'd be kinda weird.
  12. Who is in the far right of that pic? I'm pretty sure that's not what Felix Pena looks like.
  13. Please don't get sucked into starting Heyward vs two lefties because it's a huge NL West park, Joe. At least give me Almora if you're that concerned about it.
  14. Hopefully that was the last time we have to be subjected to a Heyward AB until at least Game 5*. *if necessary
  15. After the last few innings, I'd rather face Kershaw than Jansen tbh.
  16. I understand this philosophy, but I don't like that Joe is doing this on a night when the weather conditions should be favorable to hitters. I don't even particularly like Soler, but I'd prefer to see him get a chance to hit a cheap homer against a fatigued Kershaw.
  17. I feel OK about this one, all things considered. Lineup will be strengthened by Contreras and Soler; hopefully Russell moves down to 8th or something.
  18. I thought that bearded lefty in the bullpen was Kershaw at first
