    Our defense really hasn't been that bad this year. If it was as bad as some make it out to be, our starters would be having some historically great seasons.

    He's gotta at least be running away with most hated Cub right? Kevin Gregg, Soriano and Miles are splitting the vote, and Hendry is probably getting some write-ins even if he's technically not eligible. Bradley is the biggest story right now, but overall most hated Cub is a tough one to call. I don't think the mainstream cares enough about Aaron Miles to hate him more than Bradley, Soriano, or Gregg.

    I don't know that I'd say he's bringing it all upon himself, but yeah of course Milton bears some blame for this, but that was to be expected. He's passionate and emotional and apparently has no inner monologue. I'd bet a lot of money most guys on this team have thought "[expletive] these assholes", but they keep it to themselves. I disagree with those of you that think those that hate Bradley are in the minority. Maybe not in the online community, but I can't have a Cubs conversation or overhear one at work without Bradley's name being mentioned and what a jerk he is. The masses follow what the media tells them to, and barring some sort of 180 in personality or a miracle run on his back, I think Milton's lost the masses forever.

    For some reason, I'm missing this whole "accusing people of racism thing". The only thing regarding race that I saw come from him the last few days was where a reporter asked him if the "hate" he feels is because of racism and he had a somewhat smart-ass response of something like, "This country doesn't believe in racism." I don't get what is so horrible about this. Bradley has said some stupid things the last few days, but I haven't heard him accuse Cubs fans of being racist. Yep, as I said earlier it's standard hideous troll rumor mongering. If anyone actually read the article by Sullivan with an open mind they'd see that it was Sullivan baiting him and Bradley answering with the "country doesn't believe in racism" line. This stupid [expletive] knew he struck it rich when the Cubs signed Bradley because he could bait him into something innoccuous which obviously the other morons will run with to paint Bradley in a bad light. I know it didn't work out well for Hawkins, but I think I would've encouraged Bradley to not talk to the media. Go ahead and do the after game on the field interviews, hold after win pressers at the table, but don't let these bitter fucks goad you into being hated.

    when can we expect the other seven 5-star QB's to transfer? I don't know, but Jesse Scroggins, a 4-star QB, has committed to USC over Tennessee - where he'd likely be the starter the minute he steps on campus next year. Maybe he wants to be eligible for postseason play.

    And what historical evidence leads you to this conclusion? Not any but, its my hope the new ownership is going to dump Hendry and find a GM who knows something about building a good baseball team. When you look at the Cubs core of Lee, Ramirez, Soto, Fukudome, Bradley, in the hands of a good GM, there's a potentially really good baseball team. Well, I hope you're right, but we've got 101 years going against us...not to mention the fact, that other than the Yankees, the Cardinals have won more championships than any other team in major league baseball history. If I were a betting man, I wouldn't be laying my money out on the Cubs. Phil Cavaretta's gonna do it to me again!!

    Cubs fans are idiots. Ibanez is a worse defender than Bradley and has been terrible lately. Bradley's closing fast. And that's to mention nothing of years two and three of the contract. Yeah, meant to include that.
