But (as you mentioned with Randle) I don't believe that to be the case with Beal. And when you have 5 schollies for '11/'12, you can afford to wait on one stud. I'm fine if Quincy Miller wants to stretch things out with us and take it up to the last second, assuming we find homes for at least one other scholarship. Worst case you wind up banking for one of the Indy guys in '12. I'm just glad that despite the loss of Beal, we're still in decent/great shape with some really good guards in Randle and Langford. I'm sure they were each aware we were going hard for Beal, but I think we were giving them a lot more attention than we did a Moore or whoever in the IDKWTI year. This could be partially a function of the large amount of scholarships for '11, but I really do think the whole ordeal taught the staff a lesson. It worked to get Griffey in the fold by giving a take it or leave it vs. Cooley, and if we are sold on Langford, I think we'll wind up with him the same way in a take it or leave it with Randle.
