    That seems like a stretch. Maybe he meant Big XII North championship contender the big 12 north is actually pretty solid in basketball. unless you think kansas, kstate, and mizzou all suck at basketball. and if the recruits coming in play to their potential and the current batch of sophomores continue to improve, they will most definitely be a top ten team in 2011-2012. hell, they could be next year too. I was operating under the assumption that Kansas would be on probation by then. And that Frank Martin would be in jail for homicide.

    I bet if you researched it, you'd fine most major league pitchers can get 3 outs before they give up 4 runs. It's a waste of Marmol, but Lou's been doing this with his closers with 4 and 5 run leads since at least '08. It's certainly not going to stop this year when he trusts all of 1 guy in the pen.

    Ours was a draft. I had the first pick. I ended up with Tiger Woods, Camilo Villegas, Sean O'Hair and Mike Weir. I took Tiger and Weir into the weekend (you can only have 2). I don't think anyone took Phil. Some of these guys in the pool went to school with Phil. Hilarious. Of course, the reason they didn't take him will probably show up today. Then they're idiots and I want in your pools so I can take their money. Uhhh yeah, I had Phil as the favorite.

    The 2008 Cubs: Game 1: Offense looks pathetic the whole game, Kerry gives up 3 in the 9th breaking a scoreless tie. Kosuke hits a 3 run HR in the bottom half, and the Cubs immediately blow it in the 10th. Game 2: Cubs get blown out 8-2 against Jeff freakin Suppan Game 3: Cubs win 6-3 Game 4: Pen blows another one as Lieber gives up 2 in the 8th. Cubs lose 4-3.
