  1. i think you're just upset that you missed the boat. all you had to do was wait a few years, but you had to be impatient. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY???
  2. Scottie Pippen is an NBA Hall of Famer and was in the prime of his career and there were some solid guys around him, and the NBA as a whole wasn't all that great in the mid to late 90s. My point is Pippen's supporting cast was worse than Jordan's in '93 and the Bulls wound up 2 wins worse. Scottie Pippen is probably the most underrated player in NBA history because he was stuck in Jordan's shadow the entire time. LBJ doesn't have a Scottie Pippen. He could come to the Bulls next year, and he still wouldn't have a Scottie Pippen.
  3. People are blinded by the 6 titles, that they mistakenly give all the credit for to Jordan and have re-created his entire story such that he was something he wasn't. I get it, Chicago is a loser sports town, and everyone wants to cling to whatever they can, but come on, the league hated Jordan for the way he acted when he was Lebron's age.
  4. Yeah, I'm thinking it's going to be awful. I loved the original doc as a kid, I wonder if I'd still care for it now.
  5. Reminds me of a caller a few weeks back that was talking about how he didn't like/want Lebron because he's too immature. MICHAEL WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN IMMATURE
  6. Anybody in the draft that fills the role as sharpshooter? That's what I'm asking. I don't really follow college sports at all, so who fills that roll in the draft that the Bulls have a shot at? James Anderson, Xavier Henry and Gordon Hayward are all projected around that range. All between 6'6-6'8 and can be good-very good shooters. Xavier Henry pronounces his name Zahv-E-A. You don't want anything to do with that. On the bright side, he only had 1 year under Bill Self, so he might still have a productive NBA career.
  7. Can somebody please explain the '94 Bulls to me.
  8. Yeah, because they had Michael Jordan. Where do you think the Cavs would be with Delonte West playing 35 minutes a game in place of LBJ? I still think without LeBron that Mo Williams Delonte West Antawn Jamison Anderson Varejo Shaquille O'Neal get around 4th in the East. Easily. Well the Bulls only performed 2 games worse the year after Jordan was forced to "retire" so I guess LBJ > MJ
  9. Yeah, because they had Michael Jordan. Where do you think the Cavs would be with Delonte West playing 35 minutes a game in place of LBJ?
  10. So is Anderson Varejo JJ Hickson isn't
  11. Charles Oakley was really [expletive] good
  12. It's just not fair that Jordan didn't get to play with a game-changer like Jamario Moon or Mo Williams
  13. That was incredible.
  14. Lebron James would never be suspended for 2 years for gambling on games.
  15. You should know these Jordan idolators are never going to give it up. How bout this, Jordan fans, he wins 0 titles without Scottie Pippen. Man, there's really a bunch of children on this board. Because I don't agree with you I must be a guy that thinks Jordan can do no wrong? Try making a point and then throw your weak little jabs. Maybe, if people weren't on here sniveling about how "This wouldn't happen to MJ!!" everytime LeBron doesn't drop 50-15-10 I could see some sort of perspective about the Jordan thing. What would make me think that any of you think Jordan can do wrong? (Besides in his personal life, Hi-yo!)
  16. Scott GF was the fun kind of insane. On the other end of the crazy spectrum - little Mizzou cameo at the end of that thread. what happened to mizzou? Got too busy with his sidejob at monster.com
  17. So if he had put up 23 and still lost by 20 it would have been okay like when Jordan did it? THAT WOULDN'T HAPPEN TO MY MICHAEL!!! NOT MY MICHAEL!!!
  18. You should know these Jordan idolators are never going to give it up. How bout this, Jordan fans, he wins 0 titles without Scottie Pippen.
  19. Ok, I can't resist. Zambrano [expletive] tied for the NL lead in wins in 2006, while pitching for the worst team in the NL. People act like there are hordes of pitchers who win 20 games a year like it's nothing. Greg Maddux won 20(exactly) twice in his entire [expletive] career. Pedro won 20+ twice in his career. John Smoltz did it once. Johan once (exactly 20). Jake Peavy, never. [expletive] pitching wins sideways
  20. If it helps, I clearly just looked all that up on BR, and only knew Roomes because of Earl Weaver Baseball 2(With the '89 stats pack!) ETA: Holy [expletive] was Les Lancaster unbelievable in that game.
  21. Roomes was a rookie that year, but got no votes. Gregg Jeffries finished 3rd. I wouldn't be surprised if Roomes was talked about as a potential ROTY, he had a pretty batting average most of the year before tanking in September.
  22. That's not denying that he was asleep.
  23. Joe Johnson is just dying to become Michael Redd
