The talking heads at ESPN don't even go after him. I get he's Italian and thus Vitale is in love with him, but what about Bilas and Gotlieb? Why can't these guys even question him? Gottlieb went after him early last season. I'm guessing he was told to shut up cause there wasn't much talk about it after the first few days he ripped him.

To be a real number 1 in a 30 team league, why must you be top 10? During the regular season it doesn't matter much. Would you want to enter the playoffs with your best starter not even among the 10 best in the league? The Atlanta Braves had 3 of the 10 best pitchers every year in the playoffs and were heroic underachievers. Why aren't you hammering somebody on the Cubs offense for not being a top 10 hitter?

Zack Randolph is actually a pretty good comp for what Cousin's career could look like. It's like Bill Simmons wrote in an article, " I don't want to be the guy drafts Cousins, but I'd love to be the guy that trades for him in 6 years." Weren't there like 15 guys who were the guy who traded for Randolph this past offseason? No, just one. And it ended up being a great trade. He had a very good year. I might've been thinking of Quentin Richardson. I know some overpriced load got traded to every team in the NBA this past summer.
