    But is it really necessary to do it at the AAA level other than to prove to the idiots in charge that he has the "mindset" to be an 8th inning guy? It's annoying enough that Sean Marshall is going to be a reliever for the rest of his career with the Cubs. Now we're going to do it to one of our best pitching prospects?

    I hope not. There is almost no evidence that Beal is reconsidering. I know his family doesn't want him at UF, but he's been very solid on his commitment. I'd be surprised if he didn't take a long hard look at wherever Rivers winds up. Though, I guess the clock is ticking on signing day.

    Wouldn't you need an extremely deep pitching staff for that to work? It seems like it's putting a lot more on the 9th-12th guys on a staff compared to modern pen usage.

    It's not so much about NJ rehiring Cal, as it is how much does Cal want to go back to the Nets organization? At this point, I would say there is little chance of him returning to the Nets organization. Again, why?

    Is that hard to believe? If those who believe the Bulls will not LBJ for really weak reasons (ie MJ's legacy, or the idea of "New York") then yes, they are anti-Bulls. But if someone can legitimately come with a strong argument to suggest tht LBJ won't go to the Bulls, then no I wouldn't consider then anti-Bulls. Until you start giving me a strong argument as to why Lebron won't stay in Cleveland, I'm considering you anti-Cavs
