    Nebraska's in. You'll need another if Notre Dame changes their mind. They're sort of in. There's nothing in ink yet, I'm sure the Big Ten has let them know they're good to go but if Delaney wants to turn super-heel, he could hit Nebraska with a chair and reveal a leprechaun shirt.

    I thought the Cubs were getting a guy who kept a tight clubhouse in Lou Piniella. He really has softened in the last couple years. I don't think he has the energy or will to keep a tight ship anymore. I just can't believe he let Ramirez bring a gun to the clubhouse. That has to be illegal.

    I can't wait to see Bo Pelini's nose pacing the Big 10 sidelines. On the plus side of this, when he goes apesh** and starts killing students during a game, there's little chance it will be KU students. How can you be so sure Montana's coach won't do the same thing?

Addendum: I would give the following people maybe a month to prove themselves before I started said thread: Ernie Banks Sammy Sosa Mark Grace Mark Prior Kerry Wood Mark DeRosa Rick Wilkins Steve Buechele Man [expletive] Sosa, he walked out on the team in their time of need. Replace him with Ryan Theriot as player/manager

    It has been reported in many circles that every single major league clubhouse is more or less a segregated community, with latin players and american players the biggest seperation - and then obviously some black and asian guys. So it's not that hard to imagine that Ramirez and Zambrano head up some little latin group that has taken Castro under their wings, and maybe protected him from some stupid hazing nonsense. That probably would have happened if they were 10 games over. Yeah, but what's "disturbing" about that? Well, the disturbing part would be the untrue stuff, about Ramirez not caring and shooting pistols at anyone who comes near Castro. I believe it's legit

    OB is a mouthpiece for the texas AD. Don't believe anything they say about A&M. The horns are worried about us going to the SEC so they are threatening to stop playing us in all sports if we go there. They're nothing more than bullies and we are about to call their bluff. Do what is best for your school and your fans. In my mind the SEC is a lot better fit for A&M because of geography. The money should not be significantly different for A&M in the SEC as opposed to the Pac 10 (16?), and it will be better for Aggie fans. I would think the Aggies have enough pull in the State Legislature to mandate a game between A&M and Texas, but I really have no clue. I fully endorse your encouraging of A&M to the SEC so we can have Texas and ND for 14.

    To that I think they'd say to a Cubs fan that their track record of building championship teams speaks for itself. That and that's why they are building a new stadium. They are building a new stadium because the taxpayers agreed to give Jeff Loria a 300M gift for being satan incarnate.
