    Being as brutal as possible, I have 14 locks. Then being as inclusive as possible I have 45 bubble teams. Then being absurdly inclusive I have 17 more that I consider longshots, likely needing a run to their conference championship despite not being very good.

    I don't hate the Big East, I'll probably vote to give them 11 teams.

    Right. And I already stated I was wrong about his SO/BB #'s changing. I have no vested interest in being right in this argument. Hell...I have a vested interest in being wrong. However, I'll maintain my skepticism. MOST players can't strikeout that often and still consistently put up an OPS+ around 130 or above. Hopefully Pena is more talented than I'm giving him credit for. If his OPS+ is blow 125 and he's batting 3rd, we're in trouble unless we have a bunch of guys hovering right around there. If we have a bunch of guys hovering around a 125 OPS+ we'll have the best offense in baseball

    I can't believe how dumb the Nationals are. They gave up 2 players better than Soriano (Wilkerson and Sledge) in that trade, all to pay Soriano 10M to OBP 300.

    I'm just not real comfortable with Bielfeldt being in the rotation next year. It's already asking a lot for Shaw and Egwu to be contributors from the word go. Has Bielfeldt even committed yet? No, but if he has an unconditional offer, I have no idea why he woudln't take it

    II'm just saying we actually have pretty good talent right now. Two or three years ago I would have said our talent level sucked. Next year we should add four more 4 stars and a 3. But, I get the feeling we are gonna lose a guy or two to transfers. Do you have anything concrete on the transfers, or is it the same rumblings that have been talked about by the beat writers? Have you been following on Illinois loyatly? Griffey's dad hasn't had anything good to say about Weber or his rotations at all. Ugh. Never been there, I guess I"ll have to start.
