  1. Peak vs. body of work. I've been at this for years.
  2. Bulls fans are getting pretty [expletive] sensitive(nervous?) for a team up 3-0
  3. It's the best thing anyone's ever done.
  4. 12 games behind who, exactly? We're bad!! Just go with it.
  5. That was signed before Longoria had a major league AB.
  6. ...awkward
  7. Castro's gonna cost more than 15M as a free agent. Give him 10/75.
  8. It's too extreme an overhaul TT. People like what they know and aren't going to embrace something so drastic.
  9. Heh, so it happens other places as well besides here. Pathetic When did that happen here?
  10. From Outlook: Upstart: Nobody, nonentity, unknown, parvenu, newcomer, arriviste, minion. Sounds about right.
  11. The Padres were glad to not have been swept, but really it didn't matter.
  12. I'm just saying...its the easiest part of the schedule right now. Doesn't mean we're doomed or anything moving forward. If we are mediocre against the bad teams are are playing now, we'll have to play better to make the playoffs. Except the Rockies are one of the best teams in the NL and the Brewers are with us and the Reds at the top of our mediocre division. What does that have to do with playing an easy schedule so far? Yeah we played the Rockies, the Brewers are mediocre and we havent played the Reds. The point is you've isolated 30 games as difficult on our schedule, and we're supposed to be worried because we're not 13-5? The majority of our games are going to be against teams like those we've played thus far, not the top of the line teams.
  13. Well McCourt made it work on the surface, he just never had any money, and never should've been allowed to own it in the first place. This is as much Selig's fault for arranging the ownership as it is McCourt for being a crook.
  14. Montreal Expos type of situation = being owned by Satan
  15. Just put $65 on the Bulls -4.5 Go Bulls
  16. Ummmmm what? The Cubs also defeated the Padres on Monday. Which is noticably not as good as a sweep.
  17. We wouldn't boo you Albert.
  18. Ah [expletive], I just realized I'm going to be out for this game, and will have to listen to that honk King. Hopefully they're playing music instead.
