I see your argument re Boston, but not Jersey. The team is awful and it's best player is rumored to want out, having been there less than one full season. Plus they will always be second fiddle to the Knicks in a way that is harder to make-up than the Lakers-Clippers dynamic. I don't see why the Nets have a harder time making up ground than the Clippers. The Clippers were synonymous with losing, and the Lakers are one of two legendary franchises in the NBA. The Knicks haven't won in a million years, and the Nets are going to at least be new to the area. The Nets without DWill still aren't in as pathetic a shape as the Knicks were before D'antoni went there.

Prolly depends on who it is. Did you see that klee said one of the assistants was fighting with Weber? "staff doesn't fit together." Missed that, I've been so out of it since the Penn State fiasco that I haven't read much. I have to imagine that's Jerrance that's fighting? Unless Wayne's an even bigger hardass and is anoyed with some whippersnapper getting away with something?

Well whoever promised him immediate playing time is a [expletive] idiot. If he'll ever be a PG at this level, it certainly wasn't going to be this year. Which left any logical person to put him at best behind Paul-DJ-Henry prior to the season for 2 spots.

If hes smart he stays, I think if Langfords being forced to redshirt he's gone. He had nagging injuries and was 7th on the guard depth chart. Was he even healthy enough to play until Big Ten play? He was right to redshirt, and not playing for 2 years of high school, PLUS giving up a year of eligibility is really dumb.
