Bobcats pick. I would do it. It's tough to give that pick up for a short term upgrade but Ray Allen is a player that can make a legit difference against the Heat. I wouldn't. I don't see Allen making a huge difference against the Heat when we already have Rip as a SG and Korver and Watson as three point threats. I'd like to have him, but I'd rather keep the Bobcats pick for something more valuable. You don't see Ray Allen making a huge difference compared to the 12 minutes Hamilton will be healthy for and the corpse of Kyle Korver?

Um earlier this year you said that was Paul Pierce. Maybe if the good fans can't tell the difference, said guy isn't so good he can't be traded? Heading into this year it was Paul Pierce. Then I saw Pierce play half of a season and realized he isn't any longer.

Pierce is signed for 3 years, so I'm guessing he doesn't have much in terms of trade value.

Well he's signed for 4 years, so anyone could use him, the problem is if you trade him to a good team, they're not going to want to give up actual current pieces for him, and their draft picks are worthless. If you trade him to a bad team, you have to take on one of their garbage contracts, completely punt the next couple seasons and hope you get lucky in the lottery. It's just a really stupid idea.

At least it doesn't sound like something he can't come back from. Loyalty board says Weber asked if they wanted in, it was up to them, Henry chose not to. You still go in at that point, but it's nothing that's going to prevent him from coming back next year when Bruce is gone. and klee has these scout board monkeys all thinking that players are going to split if bruce is fired. it's the other way around Which scares me. Klee is the DIAs mouth piece, they better not be thinking of bringing Weber back. Oh, come on. There's no need to make things up to freak out about. I told you, once PMan started allowing open speculation about a new coach, it was over. These threads wouldn't last an hour in years' past. He's a raging douche, but he's connected and he knew it was over.

They'd have to get the big northern conferences to be on board with it, but it makes sense to me to put non-con in Fall ball, then compress the conference season so the weather isn't awful. Illinois plays 31 noncon games this year and only 7 are on their home field, playing their first 19 noncon and first 24 overall away from Champaign. You remove the one-off noncons during conference season and you can start after MLB opening day. Now I'd still try and start the conference season away from Minnesota and the Michigans, but it could work. The problem is you do miss out on the road trips, so maybe you throw in a southern trip or 2 every year to keep recruits interested.

I'm not saying he's coming back, but there are certain circumstances(not coach-related) that may keep him around for another year. My gut says he's gone, but...
