    It's crazy that it's taking this long. Teams' rosters are mostly set for the start of the season and they still don't know how many spots they're competing for.

    i was just about to post this. i hope that nelson kid doesn't get drafted and has to live in modesto forever. and howland is one weird [expletive]. i can't imagine that he'll be there much longer, that program needs an identity facelift. I'd really rather not compete with UCLA for a coach. The ideal time to compete with a coach is if UCLA is in a scandal situation. They'll hire a Karl Dorrell-type who is clean, winning be damned. That said, I don't expect Howland to go anywhere. Bruce Weber to UCLA?
