  1. They're one Zeller away from a bottom third finish. Hopefully he wises up and cashes in. I don't know, Gary Harris is probably going to be an impact freshman.
  2. They're one Zeller away from a bottom third finish. Hopefully he wises up and cashes in. he will be there all 4 years. Then he's as dumb as he looks. I guess if he blows out a knee his big bro can throw him some cash. I don't think he will leave early barring an IU title. The Zellers stay in school. Plus I don't think his game will translate all that well to the NBA. Luke Zeller stayed in school because he sucked. Tyler wasn't any good until his junior year.
  3. Next year will definitely be better now that they got rid of Watford.
  4. Oh, I didn't read that lunacy
  5. I'm just shocked he doesn't think Stewart is the worst hitter in the lineup
  6. Thanks UK, I remembered Donovan, and the dalliance with Calipari, but couldn't get names on the others.
  7. I didn't even know who Eddie Fogler was. Missing on him is more embarrassing than if Groce turned us down.
  8. What jobs do you think Brad Stevens and Shaka Smart would accept if offered?
  9. It's arbitrary rotation numbers time!!! With your host BacktoBanks
  10. what are you asking? How you can say "obviously this job isn't that great when you were rejected by your 1st 2 options, and wound up with a meh candidate." Was UNC 2000 obviously not a great job? Was UK 2007 obviously not a great job? I thought Matt Doherty was considered a home run and Gillispie a pretty damn good hire? Doherty was like their 6th choice.
  11. How many of those jobs would Smart And Stevens leave for? 4? 5?

  13. I know I was being snarky, but does anyone care to address the disconnect between UNC 2000 and Kentucky 2007 compared to Illinois 2012 with their respective hires?
  14. I never weighed in one way or another. IL definitely has a better recruiting base, but my amended list would seem to pretty clearly put Louisville ahead.
  15. North Carolina was the 842nd best program in the country in 2000.
  16. Oof, forgot revenue. Put that first.
  17. We were ranked the number 6 program all time by the Saragin ratings. So good. so when you hired your most recent coach, you got the sixth best coach in the nation, right? Kentucky was the 75th best program in the country in 2007. let's hear your criteria for what makes a good job too, while we're at it. Recruiting base, History, Fan support. In that order.

  19. K? I wouldn't call Butler a better program than Indiana.
  20. I like your list a lot better. But, I'd argue that UCONN s Calhoun and will fall apart fast after he is gone as it doesn't have a huge recruiting base nearby. I also don't think that Georgetown is a better job either. But, at least you listed Indiana. UConn will be fine. What is it, 2 hours from NYC and a half hour from ESPN? UConn is adopted by NY when it wins, but is largely ignored for the most part. Kind of like Illinois and Chicago's relationship? Nobody in big cities care about the local team, because the city is populated by alums of other universities.
  21. I don't think I've ever seen somebody shoot imaginary pistols until Bozo T Noah came around.
  22. So, then Texas Tech was a better program when Bobby Knight was the coach? Boston U was quite the plum job back in the day.
  23. Nope, Pitt and Syracuse
