Bernstein should work to cut ties with Boers. I might be able to listen to him on his own, or with someone else. Boers is unlistenable at this point. He ruins that show, completely. And the fact that Bernstein simply sits there and lets him ruin it makes it doubly frustrating. They're both much better without the other. I've heard each of them with sub hosts, and they can have rational conversations. They get together and it's just their same old schtick. It can be enjoyable, but it can also get really [expletive] annoying

Too little too late. By far. I would like to know what he really said to Collins. Was it a real apology or a "I'm sorry I had to put a kid through that ordeal" kind of an apology. Sort of like when someone says, "I'm sorry you were offended." If it was real, I wish this would get any kind of media attention--more than just a twitter message that only Illinois boards will notice. Instead, the only time a national media member brings it up is to mention he was just "being a whistleblower and doing the right thing." i'll tell you this, the hicks downstate will hold a grudge forever because they are absolute yokels. I'll hold a grudge forever and you should too.

The K-State board is losing their [expletive] minds, encouraging their recruits and players to leave, just all out nuttery. It's tremendous. Of course their consenus want appeared to be Bruce Pearl or Doug Gottlieb, so yeah, they're normal folk over there.

Talent-wise, that's a pretty good team coming back, only Samuels (kid who was suspended for tourney) was a senior. They have a couple freshman who got major playing time, including their point guard. I bet they're in the tourney next year.

I think he was, are you familiar with Mike Thomas' history with Ohio? Well obviously there's no way of knowing for sure unless someone finds something through a freedom of information search, but do you really think he had Groce ahead of guys like Grant and Miller? I think he had a good concept of who would listen and who wouldn't. If Miller was a non-starter do you really consider him a "choice?" Was Billy Donovan a choice? Izzo? Matta?

How? I think its a top 15 program. Even if all of the teams on abucks list were better than us. That still puts us at 15. I mean sure his list is awful, he didn't include Indiana in it, but even using it we are right at 15. Clearly the job isn't that great otherwise they wouldn't have crapped the bed on the coaching search, but you keep changing conversations between historical rankings, current ratings and how good the job is. By getting our third choice? Did Gunether crap the bed when he got Self? Because he wasn't his first choice. We still got a young coach that was in demand and would have been in more demand in one year. Wait, you don't honestly believe that Croce was your third choice, do you? Our beat reporter in Champaign put him at a tie for best odds with Shaka after the round of 64. Just because people in Iowa haven't heard of him doesn't mean he wasn't on our AD's radar. Our AD has running water too.

We were ranked the number 6 program all time by the Saragin ratings. So good. Iowa was #10 That was a typo.
