Seemingly everyone has them a lock but SMU just took their 3rd terrible loss of the season and they have 4 good wins and then not a single win of worth beyond that. The bottom half of the AAC is just awful and their noncon had 2 games of note, both of which they lost

Rpiforecast has illinois rpi at 45 with a run to the title game. (And since the loss is included in that rpi it would actually be better when the committee sets their field. - the BTT title game is scheduled too late to matter)

If we happened to beat Michigan, would that get us in? Or do we need one more after that? We'd need no bid thieves and even still would be left to the whims of what the committee values this year. (R/N record good, bad losses bad) Should be a lock with 3. Time to root for all tournament locks and Illini opponents for the next 12 hours
