  1. Why are people jettisoning Rusin before Vitters? Send down Rusin, fine, but no need to DFA him.
  2. I'd probably do Brett first but I'm sure we'll find at least one waiver guy in August we want to keep and need another additional spot so they're both in trouble. Though neither should last the offseason on the 40 man either anyways. Like you said, they're both almost certainly gone this offseason, but if for some bizarre reason they're not, Brett has an option left for next year and Vitters does not.
  3. If we don't dump Nate or Villanueva off our major league roster, you'd have to think Vitters will be outrighted in the next week for Fuji
  4. Nor probably anyone else on the team except Rizzo, Castro and Alcantara. Hell, he probably won't remember the manager. He won't remember those things in 30 minutes
  5. Haven't really got a ton of wear out of my $60 Tebow Broncos jersey either...
  6. RIP :( (he's not tho) :pig: http://www.northsidebaseball.com/forum/search.php?keywords=&terms=all&author=chocolate+milk&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search He died for real shortly thereafter
  7. I spent like $44 on a Scot Pollard Kings shersey for a party. $44 per wear.
  8. Well I don't know what to do
  9. So with Lake and Starlin in the lineup, I take it Nate has been DFAd
  10. Well and outright waivers are different than trade waivers. If they're trying to outright him off the 40 man those are irrevocable right?
  11. Here are their options: 1) MLB team claims him on waivers - Either the Marlins let them have him, work out a trade with that team for him, or pull him back and he can't be waived again. 2) He clears waivers - Marlins can work out a trade with any team for him, send him to the minors, or release him. Well...he could be waived again, but it'd be irrevocable so it'd essentially be releasing him to whoever has the claim...defeating the purpose of pulling him back.
  12. To be fair, the other side of that game is Anthony Rizzo and Starlin Castro. Hee Sop Choi The outcome of whom, to the Cubs, was Derrek Lee, so I'll take that. So we should trade Javy then. For a power hitter from the Marlins
  13. Looks like he's out of options, do you throw him in the pen and tell Blake Parker to go back to Iowa again, or do you push Wada to the pen and tell Blake Parker to go back to Iowa again?
  14. The meatball reaction to Javy going 2-4 coinciding with a Castro DL trip or a Castro 0-4 would be mind-numbing
  15. well, the Marlins could use a left side of their infield. The Marlins COULD use an international airport
  16. lol, no So LeBron + Wiggins = 25ish more wins? Probably?
  17. Sid Vicious laughs at your leg snapping story.
  18. No images ever
  19. whatever [expletive] number he wants He's going to demand a 3 digit number 763 most likely.
  20. whatever [expletive] number he wants He's going to demand a 3 digit number
  21. #FIRETHEO Please don't bring that over here
  22. http://31.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8yr4yu5sF1rdtneao1_400.gif
  23. I think when they're all up and everything clicks (fingers crossed) they'll realize they are all a part of something extremely special and are trying to do something which hasn't been done in over a century, and they'll love every [expletive] minute of it. I think because of this they'll be open to signing long term deals. They'll all be comning up through the same system together striving to win the World Series. How many World Series teams have had an abundance of players on their roster that came up through the ranks at the same time to reach the highest stage? If that happens, that would have to feel pretty [expletive] awesome for them, and I think they won't want to play anywhere else, at least not for a long time. But that's just my own daydream speculation. Yes it certainly is.
