I do agree with a lot of the posters here and Bob Brenly, Soriano has to take some blame there for making it a close play, I mean yeah he was definitely safe at 1st, but still, what's he doing that far off?
This cat is staying in my lap all game long. All food and litter box breaks come in between innings. I hope it's declawed. If we end up sucking, please grab it by the tail and throw it. That should help. But it will only be good luck for the Cubs if you post a video of the throw. Rally cat throw? PLZ Jason get it together.
I loathe the fact that people still mock the practice. It's good lineup construction (although admittedly less so in September when teams have 9 pitchers in the bullpen). It's good lineup construction when the 2 hitters are somewhat close in ability. Ramirez is clearly better than Floyd, and any advantage you gain from going RLR is mitigated by having Ramirez possibly miss the chance of having another AB. It's not like hitting Floyd fifth prevents the lineup from going RLR. I really don't get it.
anybody that roots for a major college program and thinks that the athletes on the team are students of the same caliber as the average student at that school is kidding themself. I've known dozens and dozens of athletes that have gone through the University of Iowa, and every last one of them earned a medical degree. Even Pierre Pierce? even Pierre Pierce especially Pierre Pierce.
