Even you can't get me to root against Purdue in sports. I just root against you in life. He sure helped me root against Purdue in sports. Though Chris Kramer had more to do with it. If not for Digger Phelps and his ilk, Chris Kramer and his flopping, whining, Wojoesque mugging for the camera would definitely be enough to get me to root against Purdue from their basketball team to their women's fencing.

Hahahha, they absolutely were not the better team. If you want me to, I'll pull out every metric ever invented that shows Illinois was the better basketball team. Western Kentucky played the better game, yeah, of course genius, that's what the final score proves. Illinois was absolutely the better basketball team. If CSU-Northridge beat Memphis yesterday would you say Northridge was the better team? There's a difference between saying Illinois was better a team this season than Western Kentucky but lost on this one occasion, compared to invalidating the loss altogether as Meph did with Florida/Ole Miss.

And when the Cubs come out and lose a game to the Nationals this year, I want you out front and center saying, the Nationals are clearly the superior team. Western Kentucky won because they hit over 50% of their 3s. If you think this would be a common occurence for them, then I don't know what to say. I guess Illinois doesn't have the same lock down defense that Florida [expletive] International does.

That's how I view this year. I really can't be disappointed about this loss too much because we definitely weren't supposed to be here this year. The next few years will be better. If they aren't Weber will be gone. He better get Richmonds name on the dotted line. That's the key for me. We get Jereme on campus and we will be special again. I might agree with you on that, he can't afford to have that happen. I don't think it will but I didn't think it would happen that last time either. If it happens this time he has to go. Has to.
