  1. This is certainly quite a lot to ingest.
  2. I am ready for the Dave article. I want to see it.
  3. I really like the elimination of divisional foes in the LDS. It was such a stupid rule.
  4. I just looked at Cots, and for some reason I had been operating under the assumption that Aroldis Chapman was only given a three year deal. Oh well, good morning to me after a late night of hell. So, I guess these guys don't mind being locked up for a while. If the "rumors" are anything to go by, he is looking at 8/60-65, which isn't too bad. Where were you getting the 8/40 from Tim?
  5. I would give him 3/33 tops, and even that is stretching sanity. I hope we walk away if his representation continues to pine for a contract longer than 3 years. The kid is apparently 26. A three year contract would give him the ability to show his stuff, and land a more lucrative contract for the remainder of his prime years and mid-thirties. Eight years for possible production without ever playing a major league game? It doesn't scream smart.
  6. Wow! I am super stoked to see the Blue Jays change it up!! Also, Brett Lawrie is dreamy.
  7. I thought that show was off the air?
  8. It is now officially obvious that he will sign with the Cardinals.
  9. Yes and more yes. This is a few seasons overdue.
  10. That would make sense. If changes go into effect, it should be for next off season.
  11. There are three marlins. And two glowing gulls. And a couple flamingos. But other than that, I agree that it is rather understated. Whoops, I can see how that post was misplaced. I was referring to the M with the marlin. The statue is a big bag of hideous. That being said, I am eagerly anticipating seeing all of these things in live motion for the first time. It should be a real hoot. The fish are going to be darting away from foul and passed balls. The brights light of the statue will probably be pulsating in time to a Wham! song. Hanley at third, Jose at short. I just sincerely hope LoMo sacks up and blasts the gaudy spectacle on Twitter.
  12. Especially if you ZOOM.
  13. Take away the marlin, and it wouldn't be all that bad.
  14. Yep because good old Paps will surely push them over the edge. ETA...more laughter HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
  15. Did MLBTR revert back to a stetchy site once again?
  16. Age considerations should be placed here. Howard is older than than Fielder, and has thus played through almost all of his "prime" years while "matching" Fielder's output. I would be willing to bet that if we wait a few years, Prince will outperform Howard during the same "prime" years because he doesn't have as much of a flawed swing as Howard.
  17. Tex looks like a horse and Prince a rasta hacky sack master. Advantage Prince.
  18. That is a left field suggestion. I don't think signing Naps to 5 years at 16 million carries any less risk than Pujols. Might as well fork it over for Pujols and still have money to get pitching help. I just, man, there has to be a better option than Napoli.
  19. Per Rotoworld's Website of fun things and loose strings... Highest Searched Players over the last 7 days 1 S. Castro MLB (2722) 2 A. Pujols MLB (2601) 3 D. Pedroia MLB (2299) 4 J. Jurrjens MLB (2170) 5 N. Markakis MLB (1861) 6 C. Wang MLB (1700) 7 R. Oswalt MLB (1690) 8 J. Thome MLB (1621) 9 M. Cuddyer MLB (1518) 10 Y. Cespedes MLB (1506) He is SO money all the time, everywhere, and always.
  20. I am amazed I just watched that whole thing. The dude has some skills, I am definitely interested.
