    This'll help That was pretty awesome. This damn team is doing a number on my emotions. I just got off the phone with my buddy who was in the bleachers today. He was excited, and I was excited, Then I hung up and got jealous that I wasn't there too. I am a mess.

    I dunno, game 5 and its afterglow was like a dream. Yeah, what's happening right now is [expletive] fantastic, but for anyone who can remember game 5 of the 2003 NLDS, or hell, after game 4 of the NLCS of 2004, this doesn't even compare. Everything was going right; the team was stacked and seemed set to win then AND going into the future. I remember just being so ridiculously happy about those playoff wins; never felt like anything like it over any other sports win. the nlcs game 4 afterglow was just incredible. especially because game 4 was a blow out. zambrano, prior, wood just needing to win one game. come on. These memories are turning a happy day into a sad day.

    I was wondering if they would. Did anyone else on the site point out the obvious to them? Nope. They are oblivious to it. They are complaining about the strike zone again too. I am officially obsessed with that site now that I know about it. It probably won't be as fun when the cards are winning.

    They've been seriously regressing to the mean, and the Cubs have had a hand in that. Plus, at this moment, the Cubs are playing better baseball. It's getting to them. They'll probably still win the division, but the Pirates and Cubs are both better teams right now, and many of the fans know it, and hate it. This is the first time I have ever been to that site, but it seems awful. Is hardcorecardsfan, the same guy that was hardcorecubsfan? Did he completely switch favorite teams, or is he a mber of every other teams forum (hardcoresoxfan, hardcoreredsfan, et cetera)

    Well that's silly Can't help it. I have an irrational love for this guy. I don't care if he strikes out 300 times a year, as long as I get to see him pimp out 30 home runs. You will not get to see that. Honestly, it's not even about the number of home runs he hits. It's more about the total time it takes him to round the bases on said home runs. I want a guy that takes at least 3 minutes to get home after every home run. Of course I'm being dumb, but I want to be the bad guys.

    If we trade Baez for anybody (outside of Trout or Harper) I will be absolutely heartbroken. If he figures it out, he will easily be my favorite Cub.

    Is Chesny someone we should be excited about? He is always hitting, but it seems like it's only singles. Does he just have a highs BABIP, or is he just leg out grounders?

    The center field grass is pretty neat. The time limit makes it tough to watch, but I think it adds a little excitement.

    Camden yards is probably my favorite after Wrigley. Old Yankee stadium was a dump, and I really liked the Nationals new park.
